You already know a few things about my work. Today, I'll share some more. On one of our work-related trips to South Mindanao, particularly in General Santos City, we're tasked to facilitate the launching of our Express Delivery Service and the relaunching of our Factory Outlet. After the successful series of activities we had for the launching, we allotted a single day to route ride with our area manager. From Gensan, we traveled to Koronadal City, South Cotabato. On our way there, our manager was kind enough to show us around some famous tourist spots that we passed by. One of the destinations we visited was Mariano's Blooming Agri-Tourism Park in Tupi still in the Province of South Cotabato. Tupi is in between Koronadal and Gensan so might as well drop by a few minutes. It won't hurt!
The great thing about working in Sales is that you aren't time-bound; there's no need to report to the office for x hours. I'm in Sales Department but I'm not a Sales Executive. I'm in the support group. So I can only feel this perk of working in my department whenever I was sent somewhere. When my visit's objectives had been carried out, I'm free to go!
So going back, we had no idea what we'll find in Mariano's Blooming. We were just told to explore the place. And when we started exploring, an hectare or two of land filled with sunflowers in full bloom welcomed us. It wasn't my first time seeing sunflowers but it was my first time navigating on a huge sunflower farm. We never got the chance to explore all the way to the end of the farm as we were only there for a while. But we did take a lot of photos. Aside from the sunflowers, I remember there were other things to see but we didn't explore further. Work was calling! Of course, I wasn't in the position to feel sad about it; in fact, I'm just grateful that for free, I reached Mariano's Blooming Agri-Tourism Park.
After our little exploration at Mariano's, we went somewhere to have lunch and another place to eat halo-halo. We also stopped by a perfect spot to view one of the biggest mountains in South Cotabato just couldn't find the photos. It was an amazing day as we ended up having dinner at Gensan. i couldn't stop thinking about the grilled butter tuna fresh from the seas of Gensan.
