Hoooola, ¿qué más? ¿Qué han hecho ustedes hoy este sábado? Yo fui a la playa con unos amigos de la universidad que tenía mucho que no veía, desde que salimos de vacaciones. Teníamos un par de semanas planeando un viaje a la playa entre varios del grupo grande que somos, déjenme les cuento un poco como me fue. 👇👇👇👇👇
Hace ya un tiempo habíamos hablado y planeado originalmente alquilar una casa en La Guaira, un estado de mi país Venezuela, específicamente queríamos hospedarnos en Oripoto, un lugar algo remoto pero lindo. Al grupo siempre le faltó un poco incenvitividad, no sabría como describirlo exactamente, entonces a unos pocos días de la fecha de viaje varios se echaron para atrás en el plan y tuvimos que cancelar la reserva de la casa.
No quisimos desechar el esfuerzo de ir a la playa, asi que igualmente bajamos mas no nos quedamos, solo durante el dia. Primero me reuni con un par de amigos y luego nos dirigimos en metro hasta Gato Negro, nos encontramos con otros dos amigos más y nos montamos en una camioneta que justo nos iba a dejar frente a la playa a la que queríamos ir.
Algo curioso que me pasó, típico y creo yo que solo pasa en mi país, es que fui a pagar de manera mixta, con dólares y bolívares, di un billete de un dólar que estaba desgastado y un poco sucio, y otro dólar pero en bolívares, me faltaban 3 bolivares y una amiga que estaba conmigo me los completó.
Pagué mi pasaje ya estando en vía a La Guaira, y como me temía, me rechazaron el billete de un dólar por su condición. Me devolvieron el billete que había dado y entré un poco en pánico como no tenía más dinero en efectivo conmigo. Por suerte mi amiga tenía también un dólar para prestarme y pude completar mi pasaje.

Luego llegamos a La Guaira y unos bajamos en un punto al que llaman El Pescado Frito, que es básicamente una estatua de un pescado gigante en una esquina, no sé si realmente se llame así pues no soy de la zona y un amigo, que estábamos esperando en este punto, fue el que nos mencionó su nombre. Una vez mi amigo llegó fuimos a comprar bebidas y snacks para comer durante nuestra estadía y nos dirigimos a la playa.
La pasamos muy bien de verdad, disfruté todo mucho, tenía ganas desde hace rato de ir a la playa asi que eso influyó un poco en mi ánimo y cuanto me gustó la experiencia. Yo colecciono piedras de ríos, montañas, de la playa, etc, entonces me traje un par y eso me alegra mucho también. Las olas eran algo fuertes y la playa algo honda entonces tragué mucha agua salada, se me metió arena y piedras por todas partes y tengo un rasguño en la espalda por culpa de una ola que me arrastro sobre un banco de piedras, además por el fuerte sol me insolé un poco, del resto no lo veo nada negativo al día de hoy.
Luego llego la hora de irnos, mi papá nos fue a buscar en una pick up y todos nos venimos en la parte de atrás, nos tomamos muchas fotos, cantamos canciones y finalmente nos despedimos y quedamos de vernos en algún otro momento antes de empezar el próximo semestre.
Ese fue mi sábado, chicos, cuéntenme que tal el suyo y si viajan mucho a la playa y gracias por haber leído hasta el final.

Hiiiiiiiiiiiii, what's up?, what did you do this Saturday? I went to the beach with some friends from college that I hadn't seen for a long time, since we went on vacation. We had been planning a trip to the beach for a couple of weeks, so let me tell you a little bit about how it went. 👇👇👇👇👇
Some time ago we had originally planned to rent a house in La Guaira, a state in my country Venezuela, specifically we wanted to stay in Oripoto, a remote but nice place. The group always lacked a bit of incentive, I wouldn't know how to describe it exactly, so a few days before the date of the trip several people backed out of the plan and we had to cancel the reservation of the house.
We didn't wanted to discard the effort to go to the beach, so we still went down but we didn't stay, just for the day. First I met up with a couple of friends and then we took the subway to Gato Negro, met up with two more friends and got on a van that was going to drop us off right in front of the beach we wanted to go to.
Something curious that happened to me, typical and I think it only happens in my country, is that I went to pay in a mixed way, with dollars and bolivars, I gave a dollar bill that was worn and a little dirty, and another dollar but in bolivars, I was missing 3 bolivars and a friend who was with me completed them.
I paid my ticket on the way to La Guaira, and as I feared, they rejected the dollar bill because of its condition. They gave me back the bill I had given and I panicked a bit as I had no more cash with me. Luckily my friend also had a dollar to lend me and I was able to complete my ticket.

Then we arrived in La Guaira and some of us got off at a point called El Pescado Frito, which is basically a statue of a giant fish on a corner, I don't know if it is really called that because I am not from the area and a friend, who we were waiting at this point, was the one who mentioned its name to us. Once my friend arrived we went to buy drinks and snacks to eat during our stay and headed to the beach.
We had a great time, I really enjoyed everything, I had been wanting to go to the beach for a long time so that influenced my mood and how much I enjoyed the experience. I collect stones from rivers, mountains, from the beach, etc., so I brought a couple with me and that made me very happy too. The waves were a bit strong and the beach was a bit deep so I swallowed a lot of salt water, sand and stones got everywhere and I got a scratch on my back because of a wave that dragged me over a bank of stones, also because of the strong sun I got a little sunstroke, otherwise I don't see anything negative today.
Then it was time to go, my dad went to pick us up in a pick up and we all came in the back, we took many pictures, sang songs and finally we said goodbye and agreed to see each other some other time before starting the next semester.
