So what is Banana leaf cuisine?
It is a traditional South-Indian method of serving rice dishes. In banana leaf Indian cuisine, you can typically find white rice (or parboiled rice), in this restaurant, it offers you 3 types of choices which are White rice, Briyani rice and Tomato rice served on a banana leaf with an assortment of vegetables, pickles, appalam, and other regional condiments.

Passions of Kerala Restaurant offers 4 different types of assortment of vegetables and 3 types of curry (dhal, fish and chicken) + a serving of papadum.

What is papadum?
A papadam or appalam is an Indian deep fried dough of black gram bean flour, either fried or cooked with dry heat (flipped over an open flame) until crunchy. The best part about dining in is at the papadum serving is bottomless!

What is in the picture?
My personal favourite is the mutton masala and fried squid. Not too spicy and squid is perfectly crispy.
