I've been away from writing posts for a while now. Today I would like to tell you a story that I just went for a walk in Trat's annual fair at the end of March 2023, which was not so long ago. Trat's annual event is called Trat Recapture, which will be held from March 23-27 every year. This event will feature performances and exhibition booths that tell the history of this province. Trat used to be part of Thailand and became a French colonial area during colonization by western countries. Later, there was a territorial exchange treaty between Thailand and France, causing Trat to become part of Thailand again. This year is the 117th year that Trat gained independence from France. In addition, the event also has a variety of product shops. Especially food shops that have more than other products and a lot of people in the area will come to this event as well.
