Hola. A muy poca distancia de la ciudad donde vivo hay un rincón muy especial al que me gusta ir todos los año. Se trata del “huerto del cura”. El huerto del cura, es un jardín declarado en 1943 jardín artístico nacional. Permanece desde 1919 bajo la misma propiedad privada, y dedica los ingresos de los visitantes a conservar y promocionar el Jardín. Es la perla del palmeral histórico de Elche (España) y es un espacio en el que conviven plantas mediterráneas y tropicales.
Ayer estuve dando un paseo y viendo como había quedado la reformar de la fachada que se llevó a cabo hace poco. También quería aprovechar para ver el jardín después de unos días de intensa lluvia hace un par de semanas. En esta publicación mostraré la entrada y algunos de los habitantes del jardín.
Hello, A very short distance from the city where I live there is a very special place where I like to go every year. It is the "orchard of the priest". The priest's orchard is a garden declared a national artistic garden in 1943. It remains since 1919 under the same private ownership, and dedicates the income from visitors to preserve and promote the garden. It is the pearl of the historic palm grove of Elche (Spain) and is a space where Mediterranean and tropical plants coexist.
Yesterday I went for a walk and saw how the renovation of the facade that was carried out recently had turned out. I also wanted to take the opportunity to see the garden after a few days of heavy rain a couple of weeks ago. In this post I will show the entrance and some of the inhabitants of the garden.
