Some photo of the wall, Most of the prayers and letters I read that night were too heart warming. It was mixed emotions, you see struggles, happiness, being grateful, and just being blessed and contented.

How about you? If you can write a letter to God, What will you tell him?

I kept on talking about Gabii sa Kabilin in my previous blogs, and I still have a few museums left to tell you about in my drafts.

One of the activities that night was a photo and video/vlog contest. Participants can take a photo or do a vlog about the happenings during Gabii sa Kabilin with the theme "Padayon," which means to move forward in the local dialect.

The theme aims to showcase Cebuano resilience, optimism, and ingenuity amidst crises and challenges. I entered the photo contest and was fortunate to pass the screening out of 46 entries.

The photo's subject can be anything, from people to objects, or any element as long as it fits the theme.

The photo I took was from the prayer wall in the Basilica Minore Musuem. They held an activity that night where strangers could anonymously write their prayers or anything else they wanted to say, request, or give thanks to the Lord for.

I think that site really shows the resilience of Filipinos. Despite hardships in our lives, faith always plays a big part in helping us move forward. When things get hard, we can always pause, pray, and hope that things will get better—because they always will.

I used Adobe Lightroom to edit the picture. Voting has just opened for the contest, which has 34 official entries. The one with the most "likes" or "reactions" on Facebook will win the prize.

If you have spare time, I hope you can support my entry. Just follow the instructions on the main page.

You can find the link HERE; mine is entry #15 with the title
"Letters to Jesus" by Jessa Cabonegro.

Do wish me luck! The voting period is from November 9 until November 14 at 4:00 p.m., and the announcement of winners will be on November 16, 2022.
