Extraño Concurso No 24. Día de las madres

Cuando era niño acostumbraba vender periódico para completar los gastos de la escuela, ya saben, los zapatos y la ropa eran una preocupación secundaria. Esos eran tiempos muy difíciles, sin embargo no hubiera pedido otra infancia, si no esa que me enseño el valor de la vida y de la amistad.

En una ocasión un amigo que conocí en la venta del periódico me comentó que quería llevarle flores a su mamá el día de las madres, pero como de costumbre, los precios aumentaban considerablemente en esas fechas, entonces se nos ocurrió cortar unas flores silvestres que crecían en el monte. Mi amigo aún no estaba muy convencido de entregarle ese obsequio tan humilde a su madre, pero al final se decidió. Al verlo su mamá rompió e llanto y bendijo a su hijo por ese maravilloso gesto. Desde entonces cada vez que veo una de esas flores silvestres, recuerdo la sonrisa en el rostro de mi madre a quien también regale flores silvestres…

Señoras y Señores este es el Extraño Concurso No. 24 el cual se trata de escribir una historia corta de entre 50 y 150 palabras inspirada en estas imágenes. Para ilustrarla podrán usar cualquiera de las imágenes de este post, aunque no es indispensable. El periodo para participar es desde el inicio de esta publicación hasta el último minuto del día viernes.

En esta ocasión habrá tres premios.

Tercer Lugar 1 Hive

Para elegirlos cada quien podrá votar por sus tres favoritos el día sábado 13 de mayo, los que obtengan mas votos, serán los ganadores. En caso de empate o de qué nadie vote, el fallo final lo darán los tres extraños jueces.

When I was a kid, I used to sell newspapers to cover school expenses, you know, shoes and clothes were a secondary concern. Those were very difficult times, however, I would not have asked for another childhood, if not the one that taught me the value of life and friendship.

On one occasion, a friend I met at the newspaper sale told me that he wanted to bring flowers to his mother on Mother's Day, but as usual, prices increased considerably on those dates, so it occurred to us to cut some wild flowers that grew in the mount. My friend was still not very convinced to give such a humble gift to his mother, but in the end he made up his mind. Upon seeing it, her mother burst into tears and blessed her son for that wonderful gesture. Since then every time I see one of those wild flowers, I remember the smile on my mother's face to whom I also gave wild flowers...

Ladies and Gentlemen this is the Weird Contest No. 24 which is about writing a short story of between 50 and 150 words inspired by these images. You can use any of the images in this post to illustrate it, although it is not essential. The period to participate is from the beginning of this publication until the last minute of Friday.

This time there will be three prizes.
First Place 3 Hives
Second Place 2 Hives
Third Place 1 Hive

To choose them, everyone will be able to vote for their three favorites on Saturday, May 13, those who get the most votes will be the winners. In the event of a tie or in which no one votes, the final ruling will be given by the three strange judges.
