Creo que no soy el único en decir que llegar aquí a Hive ha sido un verdadero reto. Y es que más allá de tener algún gusto o habilidad especial con la escritura y la creación de contenido, muchos llegamos aquí con la incertidumbre, la ansiedad y la emoción de poder saber lo que haríamos a través de esta plataforma. De pronto ese reto ya no lo ves tan grande o inalcanzable como al principio, y entonces empiezas a disfrutar de una bonita experiencia gracias a ese paso adelante que diste al adentrarte a este mundo fascinante en el que hoy compartimos nuestras reflexiones y pensamientos sobre cualquier tema.
Pero no todo llega hasta aquí, sino que ahora el abanico de oportunidades se abren de una manera tan amplia que hasta puedes encontrar algún tema o iniciativa que se ajuste a tus gustos literarios, concursos de canto u otro arte que alimentan día a día la participación e interacción dentro de muchas comunidades. Lo cierto es que ante esta minuciosa búsqueda también puedes encontrar temas o dinámicas a las cuales automáticamente dices: "¡Vaya! Esto no es para mí", y casi que lo pasamos u obviamos de forma inmediata. ¿Acaso estaré negandome a aceptar un reto? ¿Por qué no me atrevo a intentarlo y ver qué tal me va? De esto se trata la experiencia que hace poco pude disfrutar y ahora voy a contar.
I think I'm not alone in saying that getting here to Hive has been a real challenge. And beyond having some special taste or ability with writing and content creation, many of us arrived here with the uncertainty, anxiety and excitement of knowing what we would do through this platform. Suddenly that challenge is no longer as big or unattainable as it was at the beginning, and then you start to enjoy a beautiful experience thanks to that step forward you took when you entered this fascinating world where today we share our reflections and thoughts on any topic.
But not everything goes so far, but now the range of opportunities is so wide that you can even find a topic or initiative that fits your literary tastes, singing contests or other art that feed day by day the participation and interaction within many communities. The truth is that before this meticulous search you can also find topics or dynamics to which you automatically say: "Wow! This is not for me", and we almost immediately pass or ignore it. Am I refusing to accept a challenge? Why don't I dare to try it and see how it goes? This is what the experience that I recently enjoyed and now I am going to tell you about is all about.
Todo empezó con un pequeño reto personal: publicar en una comunidad donde nunca había compartido, y entre varias opciones terminé haciendo un post en la comunidad de @worldmappin ¿Viajes? 🤔 Eso no es lo mío, pero aún así lo hice y me sentí bastante satisfecho. Atreverme a aceptar ese reto me llevó a conocer un concurso que por todo el mes de diciembre sería un verdadero desafío: a través de publicaciones y snaps, con las etiquetas de "winterchallenge", "worldmappin" y "travel digest", tendríamos la oportunidad de compartir experiencias y comentarios relacionados con esta etapa del año. Sinceramente cuando ví la publicación, enseguida tuve una reacción dividida, pues por un lado tenía la emoción del concurso mientras que por el otro sabía que mi poca experiencia de viajes quizás no me alcanzaría para participar.
El reto "winterchallenge" constaba de acumular tickets diarios. ¿Cómo? Pues un ticket por usar esa etiqueta en tu publicación, cuatro tickets si tú publicación era nominada en el top tres del día y dos tickets más a través de los snaps usando las etiquetas que ya mencioné. El hecho de poder generar tickets a través de los snaps fue lo que al final me impulsó a participar, aunque la realidad fue que no inicié el mes de buena manera. ¿Por qué? Porque me confundí con los snaps, y en vez de publicarlos en la comunidad lo hice en mi blog 🙈😔 Por un momento pensé dejarlo así y no intentarlo, pero luego la misma comunidad me ayudó a encontrar la forma de publicar snaps con total éxito 🥰🤗 Y así empezó mi travesía en un viaje bastante inesperado 😎
It all started with a little personal challenge: to post in a community where I had never shared, and among several options I ended up making a post in the @worldmappin community Travel? 🤔 That's not my thing, but I still did it and felt quite satisfied. Daring to accept that challenge led me to learn about a contest that for the whole month of December would be a real challenge: through posts and snaps, with the tags of "winterchallenge", "worldmappin" and "travel digest", we would have the opportunity to share experiences and comments related to this time of the year. Honestly, when I saw the publication, I immediately had a split reaction, because on the one hand I was excited about the contest while on the other hand I knew that my little travel experience might not be enough to participate.
The "winterchallenge" challenge consisted of accumulating daily tickets, one ticket for using that tag in your post, four tickets if your post was nominated in the top three of the day and two more tickets through the snaps using the tags I already mentioned. The fact of being able to generate tickets through the snaps was what finally pushed me to participate, although the reality was that I didn't start the month in a good way. Why? Because I got confused with the snaps, and instead of publishing them in the community I did it in my blog 🙈😔 For a moment I thought to leave it like that and not try, but then the same community helped me to find the way to publish snaps with total success 🥰🤗 And so began my journey in a quite unexpected journey 😎.
Nunca antes había disfrutado de una iniciativa como esta. Diariamente esta comunidad se convertía en un verdadero viaje en el que disfrutaba de muchas publicaciones que nos regalaban experiencias y reflexiones de muchas partes del mundo. Pero no todo era paisajes y fotografías, sino que el ambiente que se generaba a través de los snaps era espectacular. Algo que admiro y encomio profundamente es la interacción de los moderadores y hasta los administradores con todos los usuarios. ¡Me sentía como hacer un viaje en familia! ❤️ Todos compartiendo y disfrutando como si nos conociéramos desde hace muchos años. Personas como @lizanomadsoul @ninaeatshere @detlev también fueron un apoyo especial a través de sus comentarios y ese trabajo que de seguro como equipo hicieron de forma excepcional 🥰
Esto también me animó a usar más esta herramienta de los snaps, incluso esforzándome por darle un toque original y creativo a cada snap compartido. Realmente no sé cuántos fueron en total, pero lo que sí puedo asegurar es que cada uno lo disfruté con total libertad. Dicen que cuando uno disfruta de algo el tiempo se pasa volando, y a decir verdad este mes de diciembre fue para mí como un mes de solo un par de semanas 😅 En el mes del concurso solo pude compartir 4 publicaciones con las que también disfruté muchísimo, pero clase aparte cuando llegaba el momento del "travel digest" y los snaps 🤩😏
I had never before enjoyed an initiative like this. Every day this community became a real journey in which I enjoyed many publications that gave us experiences and reflections from many parts of the world. But not everything was landscapes and photographs, but the atmosphere that was generated through the snaps was spectacular. Something I deeply admire and commend is the interaction of the moderators and even the administrators with all the users. I felt like taking a family trip! ❤️ All sharing and enjoying as if we had known each other for many years. People like @lizanomadsoul @ninaeatshere @detlev were also a special support through their comments and that work that for sure as a team they did exceptionally 🥰.
This also encouraged me to use this snap tool more, even striving to give an original and creative touch to each snap shared. I really don't know how many there were in total, but what I can say for sure is that I enjoyed each one with total freedom. They say that when you enjoy something the time flies by, and to tell the truth this month of December was for me like a month of just a couple of weeks 😅 In the month of the contest I could only share 4 publications with which I also enjoyed a lot, but class apart when it was time for the "travel digest" and the snaps 🤩😏
Finalmente el último día del mes llegó, y esa sensación agridulce abordaba mi atención, pues por un lado era el fin del concurso, pero de manera sorpresiva pude quedar en el top 10 🥳👏👏 Increíble, espectacular y totalmente cierto, algo que al principio escapaba incluso a imaginar. Recuerdo que fueron más de 200 participantes los que dieron brillo y presencia a esta iniciativa que a través de los viajes nos permitió dar vida a algo que para mí, es lo más importante y emocionalmente que he disfrutado en Hive. ¡Qué se repita! ❤️
Porque más allá del concurso y las recompensas, encontré algo mucho más valioso. Una comunidad que ahora siento como un hogar, y un gran equipo de trabajo al cual felicito por todo lo que hasta ahora han llevado a cabo. Te animo a que vayas y compruebes por ti mismo la experiencia única y sinigual que en la comunidad de @worldmappin le dará un verdadero viaje de placer a tu creatividad. Gracias a aceptar dicho reto, pude dar cabida a un cúmulo de experiencias que me han hecho crecer aún más como creador de contenido, y me hacen sentir como un miembro más de esta gran familia de viajeros que hacen vida aquí en Hive 😎❤️
Finally the last day of the month arrived, and that bittersweet feeling approached my attention, because on the one hand it was the end of the contest, but in a surprising way I could be in the top 10 🥳👏👏 Incredible, spectacular and totally true, something that at the beginning escaped even to imagine. I remember that there were more than 200 participants who gave shine and presence to this initiative that through travel allowed us to give life to something that for me, is the most important and emotionally that I have enjoyed in Hive. May it be repeated! ❤️
Because beyond the contest and the rewards, I found something much more valuable. A community that now feels like home, and a great team that I congratulate for everything they have done so far. I encourage you to go and see for yourself the unique and unparalleled experience that the @worldmappin community will give a real pleasure trip to your creativity. Thanks to accepting this challenge, I was able to accommodate a wealth of experiences that have made me grow even more as a content creator, and make me feel like one more member of this great family of travelers that make life here in Hive 😎❤️
