“We Are Many and We are One. We are The Handshake Family.”
The Handshake Family (or THF) is a generative NFT collection of 20,000 unique PFPs created to commemorate the Handshake Naming System, the first decentralized and DNS-compatible blockchain-based domain name system with 8 million+ top-level domains already registered. Along with giving the Handshake community a unique visual identity, THF also comes with a unique utility that we will detail later in this announcement.
The first collection of it's kind, each piece comes with a pass to mint a domain of the buyers choice under the exclusive .theEarlyAdopter top-level domain, fee-free and forever. Our earliest [redacted] supporters to join the whitelist will be members of the [redacted] club and will also receive another domain name of their choice under our .[redacted] top-level domain along with a special edition, limited run NFT from The Handshake Family collection at mint time.
Holdlers of any piece from The Handshake Family will receive unlimited access to [redacted]DAO, a DAO that serves as the decentralized and distributed workforce and acts as a Layer 2 to the Handshake Naming System and it’s many TLD owners. THF NFTs function as a digital keycard to access, utilize and suggest features, jobs and integrations on the DAO while also providing the developers, marketers and graphic designers of the Handshake ecosystem a centrally located place to offer their services to other THF hodlers.
Some of the features and functions we’re working on for [redacted]DAO include but are not limited to:
• Completely open source sourcecode.
• A community bounty board where users can escrow their crypto with the DAO to incentivize developers to build integrations, apps and infrastructure for Handshake.
• A centrally located registry of what projects and apps have been built on Handshake and where to find them.
• An annual awards event that honors the best projects built that year as voted for by the THF holders community.
• A web3 native community that will allow suggestions for new DAO functionalities and on-chain voting to implement said functionalities along with rewards for participation.
• … And any other feasible suggestions from THF holders, whitelisters and the Handshake community. We will be holding monthly meetings with the Handshake community leading up to launch to discuss what features they’d like to see implemented.
The Handshake Family along with [redacted]DAO will be made available only Telos, the worlds fastest, fairest and greenest decentralized blockchain.
