el sol calcina la tarde
y se va mi pensamiento
volando hacia el firmamento.

compañera de mi vida
en esta noche serena
donde se juntan mis penas
para llorar su partida.
Porque la tarde que muere
promete una noche bella
voy a seguir los caminos
tras de su huella
para seguir una estrella
dejo desierto mi cielo
junto a la noche el desvelo
y mi querella.
La estrella que ando buscando
esta noche no saldrá
porque el cielo se ha nublado
y un lamento se ha escuchado
rompiendo la soledad, soledad...
Pero sigo en esta noche
abrazado a su recuerdo
recuerdo que entre sus brazos
tantas noches me quedé
contemplando las estrellas
mirando la luna bella
pero en qué perdí su huella
nunca más la encontraré.
Voy a seguir esperando
a la mitad del camino
el misterio de la noche
me la vuelva regresar
quizás estará perdida
en el azul infinito
como un tierno lucerito
llorando en la soledad, mi soledad...

Pero sigo en esta noche
abrazado a su recuerdo
recuerdo que entre sus brazos
tantas noches me quedé
contemplando las estrellas
mirando la luna bella
pero en qué perdí su huella
nunca más la encontraré.
Voy a seguir esperando
a la mitad del camino
el misterio de la noche
me la vuelva regresar
quizás estará perdida
en el azul infinito
como un tierno lucerito
llorando en la soledad, mi soledad...
