La verdad es que hay muchas piezas musicales que me gustan, quizá no alcanzaría a decirlas todas, porque abarcan demasiados géneros, desde lo clásico hasta el rap. Así que, en esta oportunidad, solo me inclinaré por el rock/pop en inglés que me acompaña a diario en mi vida, esos clásicos de los grandes artistas que nunca morirán. Acentuando los temas de amor y mensajes positivos e inspiradores.
Se me ha hecho muy difícil llevar esta elección a cabo, puesto que casi todas las bandas que las interpretan, son a su vez, mis bandas favoritas. Y me debatía entre si hacer un TAG de bandas o uno de canciones. Y bueno, sé que seis es un número que no suele representar un top, por lo general o es cinco o 10, pero no seis. Solo que, entre las seis canciones, no pude dejar una más por fuera.

The truth is that there are many musical pieces that I like, maybe I would not be able to say them all, because they cover too many genres, from classical to rap. So, this time, I will only lean towards the rock / pop in English that accompanies me daily in my life, those classics of the great artists that will never die. Accentuating the themes of love and positive and inspiring messages.
It has been very difficult for me to carry out this choice, since almost all the bands that interpret them are, in turn, my favorite bands. And I debated whether to make a TAG of bands or one of songs. And well, I know that six is a number that does not usually represent a top, usually it is either five or 10, but not six. Only, among the six songs, I couldn't leave one more out.

Esta joya de la música, aunque sencilla por sus acordes, es una canción que resulta hermosísima para mí. La voz de Linda Perry sin duda es una de las mejores voces que por este mundo ha pasado. Me empoderada aún más escuchar esta canción y saber que es un grupo conformado por mujeres, exclusivamente.

Estas dos voces perfectamente unidas a dueto han sido una de las mejores combinaciones en el mundo. Me encanta. Además, que la letra desborda amor por cada parte, es realmente hermosa.

Me emociono demasiado al hablar de Queen. Roger, Brian, Jhon y Freddie, estas cuatro personas son mis ídolos y de alguna manera me indigna no haber podido disfrutar de ellos en sus inicios. Y sí, Freddie Mercury es el ser que considero, ha sido la mejor voz del mundo. No hay y dudo que haya en un futuro, cantante con su capacidad vocal.
Debo aclarar que esta opinión, aunque sustentada por bases, es posible que se vea expresada de forma subjetiva debido a mi gran admiración por dicho artista, así que pido me entiendan, ja.
Aunque podría hacer un blog hablando solamente de Queen y de sus canciones que más me gustan, acá solo anexaré una que, sin duda, significa para mi demasiado. Espero la disfruten tanto como yo lo hago.

I get too excited talking about Queen. Roger, Brian, Jhon and Freddie, these four people are my idols and somehow I am outraged that I was not able to enjoy them in their early days. La hermosa Dolores O’Riordan con su banda me dejan en un estado de relajación cada que los escucho. Un estado que me hace creer que por medio de la música somos capaces de alcanzar la paz mundial. De verdad. No tengo más, sino que palabras de admiración por esta banda y de gratitud por compartir música para disfrutar y apreciar en su totalidad. “When You’re Gone”, esta canción en especial ha logrado calar en mi de tal manera que nunca me canso de ella. Preciosa letra, preciosa voz, arreglos hermosos. Es lo mejor. Aún me duele la muerte accidental de esta talentosísima artista.
- When you're gone from Cramberries.
The beautiful Dolores O'Riordan with her band leaves me in a state of relaxation every time I listen to them. A state that makes me believe that through music we are capable of achieving world peace. Really. I have no more, but words of admiration for this band and gratitude for sharing music to fully enjoy and appreciate. The accidental death of this extremely talented artist still pains me.

Excelente post. Atinaste conmigo en las 4 primeras, no son mis favoritas pero me gustan muchísimo. Hubo una época en que me sabía "Ben" de M.J pero luego con el tiempo dejé de practicarla y desapareció de mi mente :(
"More Than Words" fue una canción clave que influyó mucho en mis inicios musicales, pues recuerdo muy bien que un primo mío me propuso "graduarme" de guitarrista si le tocaba More Than Words" en la guitarra. Escuché tanto la canción que me gustó mucho, y llegué al punto de aprendérmela casi al mismo estilo de la banda original; el único detalle que no pude arreglar es la pronunciación del inglés, pues no lo manejo mucho a nivel de "hablar", domino más es la lectura y comprensión.
