Hace unos años emprendí un viaje a la playa con un grupo de amigos, nuestra intención era embarcarnos para pernoctar en una pequeña isla que es parte del parque nacional Morrocoy en el occidente del país. Esta isla se llama Cayo Sombrero. Preparamos nuestro equipaje con alimentos no perecederos, llevamos carpas, esnórquel y chapaletas, y vestimenta para abrigarnos. Fue una semana espléndida, en una época muy singular. Celebramos el año nuevo y hasta un cumpleaños de una amiga. Como la música no puede faltar, una noche alguien apareció con una guitarra y cantamos hasta amanecer. No dejamos dormir a nadie. Afortunadamente, no éramos las únicas personas en la isla, no eran muchas personas, se podían contar con la mano. Fuimos los únicos locos que duraron una semana. La música nos conecta con personas y recuerdos. Su influencia perdura para siempre.
A few years ago I undertook a trip to the beach with a group of friends, we intended to embark to spend the night on a small island that is part of the Morrocoy National Park in the west of the country.
