Because the Graz Card is only valid when personalized we can't buy it for you in advance. Weโre not about to ask everyone for their real names - donโt worry, no ID checks by us haha!
Therefore, you'll need to buy your ticket locally or head to the รBB shop and buy it online:
But we will need a proof that you bought the ticket - a physical copy is best, but the receipt youโll get via email works too! Weโll take a quick photo of it (donโt worry, weโll leave out your personal info) just for documentation. Then youโll get your money back. Easy! We prefer HBD but we could also give you fiat in return.
Our recommendation for people who stay from Thursday to Sunday:
Buy the ticket at a train station on Thursday afternoon (or online) so itโll be valid until Sunday afternoon. Smart move!

- The Graz Card is only valid when it's personalized with your real name and used together with a valid passport or ID - so donโt forget to bring yours! ๐
- The card is valid for exactly 72 hours from the time of purchase. For example, if you activate it on Thursday at 5 PM, it will be valid until Sunday at 5 PM.
- Traveling with kids? Up to two children under 15 are included for free with your card.
- On Saturday morning (see our time table for more info), weโll head out on a @cleanplanet walk to the top of Mount Schlossberg. After enjoying a well-deserved lunch with a view, weโll ride the mountain train back down - this ride is included in the Graz Card.
- On Saturday afternoon, youโll have time to visit a museum or join a guided city tour. Also free with the Graz Card.
- Of course, all regular public transport used to get to the venue or to our dinner restaurants is included with your card.
See you there!

Also, going from experience from Amsterdam, does public transport turns into pumpkin after midnight in Graz too?
Yes, you need it from 17.00 pm , if you come with us to dinner ...
Its a ticket for Public transport.

Cheers ๐ค

Please vote for the new Ecency Proposal.
I thank you for the generous offer! Is it OK if I buy 48 hours pass as I only stay until Saturday. It may save some euro ๐ Looking forward to seeing you all later!
Of course it is okay to save some euro :) I just did not want to make the explanations too complex and gone for the max hours ^^
Thank you for the super quick reply! Now I buy mine โบ๏ธ
This post, with all previous ones, reads like as if at the end of a complex plan, where every knot unfolds and the fabric of life shows its beautiful pattern.
Thank you, for this great opportunity.
Haha, thank you for the probs :D There is a complex plan behind it for sure, but fortunately not as complex as last year in Hamburg :)
That's great thanks!
I got a question about buying train tickets on OBB. Does anyone know why when I buy a ticket from Graz to Ljubljana it costs 19.9 for the first person and 24.9 for the second person? I found it very odd as it discourages more people to travel together
It is odd.
I could find that reason;
On รBB (and many European railways), some international tickets have special discounted prices like "Sparschiene" fares, kinda limited offers. So when you book, the first person might get the cheapest available fare (19.90), but there might be only one ticket left at that price.
When you add a second person, they have to get the next available fare tier (e.g. 24.90). Itโs not that they charge extra for the second person on purpose โ itโs just that there are only limited cheap tickets, and they sell out one by one.
Basically, the system is treating them individually, not as a group.
Got it! Thanks for that!
Look forward to seeing you guys next week!!
Same here! We can't wait to catch up ๐๐ฝ๐๐ฝ
That's great. Thanks for the info!
This is amazing!!!!!
