Estuve en el "Halving Party", celebrado el 18 de abril, de la comunidad Bitcoiner en Argentina. Este fue un preámbulo de las fechas entre el 19 y 20 de abril, donde se van a reducir las recompensas en bitcoin, por emisión de bloques, a la mitad. Pues así, está programado desde su creación hasta el final de la emisión en el año 2140. (Tal vez para el momento en que este post se publique, ya habrá culminado el proceso, y tengamos cifras ciertas, la histórica reducción esperada, y con buenas noticias) Ahora les cuento gran parte de lo acontecido esa noche.
Llegamos justo a las seis. No sin antes refrescarnos un poco la garganta en un lugar cercano, acordado para encontrarme con, @littlesorceress y @opyavi. Hubo otros integrantes de la comunidad #Hiveargentina que asistirían, pero por razones diversas, entre ellas la distancia y el horario, no pudieron presentarse. Lo más importante en este momento, es el aprendizaje que obtendremos sobre el tema BC. Asimismo, lo que significa Halving, para quienes pertenecemos a una Blockchain que va ascendiendo en el tiempo y en el espacio a pasos lentos pero seguros. Para continuar y mejorar en todo, debemos nutrirnos de conocimiento y actualizarnos.
En la sala principal, nos mostraban la secuencia de charlas, y los speakers que estarían a cargo. Todo ello, en dos salas. Había una terraza en el mismo piso, para el refrigerio.
Entre los speakers estaban Pablo Gutiérrez, Representante de Espacio Cultural, Manu Ferrari, (Money on chain) Sazkiabella (Labitconf, ONG Bitcoin Argentina) Rodo Andrages, (Labitconf Bitcoin Argentina, Alfredo Rosenvit, (UDESA Y UCEMA)Sergio Lerner (Fairgate. IO. Rotstock), Max Carjuzaa y Camilo Gutiérrez (Fricrypto), Aida Pippo (ONG Bitcoin Argentina), Jimena Vallone (ONG Bitcoin Argentina), Damián Silva (Tropykus), Iván Tello (Decrypto), José Luis Cáceres (Bit2me), Pablo Casado (Bit2me), Nahuel Orellano (Cultura C3)
y Pedro Rey (Cripto la Plata)
Por supuesto, el tema principal fue El Halving 2024. Se trata de un patrón de emisión auditado que, desde la creación de bitcoin, tiene un hito monetario cada cuatro años. A partir de 2012, comienza el primer Halving, o reducción a la mitad de las recompensas. Esto significa que cada vez que llega un nuevo bloque, cada ordenador comprueba que nadie se exceda y cada 10 minutos se confirma la emisión a la red.
Desde el primer día, el BC, fue muy volátil. Para 2012, la recompensa era de 50, 4 años después, en 2016, se reducen a 25, luego, en 2020, llega a 6,5 y se estima que en este 2024, esos 6,5 llegarán a la esperada mitad. Esto significa que seguirá reduciéndose a la mitad hasta llegar al punto en el que para los mineros habrá recompensas, siempre será la mitad de su valor cada cuatro años, hasta 2040, que es cuando el bitcoin llega a cero.
Estos cálculos a fecha de hoy, 18 de abril, eran los planteados por los ponentes, sin embargo, habrá que ver cómo impacta y qué puede ocurrir, a partir del día 19, cuando explote este nuevo halving, 2024. Los expertos recomiendan esperar hasta el final del reparto de la retribución para ver cómo se comporta el mercado y poder invertir con certeza.
Seguidamente, se presentaron los representantes BIT2ME, mostrando, las razones para registrarse en la misma, sus beneficios y manejo. Por cierto, me quedo con su eslogan: "Quien tiene una comunidad, tiene un tesoro"
El facilitador, Camilo Gutiérrez, fue el encargado de llevar las riendas del Halving y su historia. Así como sus recomendaciones, para lo que van a conformar ese mercado. Cierro con esta hermosa frase "El futuro pertenece a quienes actúan por sus sueños"
En resumen, fue un evento muy bien organizado, los ponentes excelentes, me gustó la bonita exposición de óleos, regalos de ONG's y representantes internacionales que han estado presentes en las convenciones organizadas por ellos.
