When we founded the #solarisfuture intiative we did this, because we did believe HIVE is an optimal tool to bring help to communities in need and their word back to the world. And we were sure, that it is necessary because no one else is doing it. Little did we know how wrong we were. We knew of course of the borehole project - but being funded by the DAO it is in a whole different league than what we are aiming for. But then we discovered the @cleanplanet project, the @hive.helps project and now finally the awesome @cbrsphilanthropy project - which we have been introduced to at the amazing @buzzparty 2024 organized by @tibfox in Hamburg. You really should visit their respective blogs and webpages to have a first-hand look what they are doing - it's just nothing short of fantastic.
While @solarisfuture wants to support communities by sharing information about renewable energy and by lending and/or gifting HBD for purchasing renewable energy equipment, we still need to power up the account much much more to really be able to power our vison.
Given the fact that there are still not a lot of posts about renewable energy on hive we have sufficient upvote power left to support the other mentioned projects by upvotes, too.
But what was also obvious by the presentations and discussions in Hamburg is, that actually the @solarisfuture account has the highest voting power of all accounts mentioned - which is as mentioned still for 4 times away of where it should be to really make the desired impact. (especially the @cbrsphilanthropy and @hive.helps are still very very small) In comparison it's amazing to see what all those accounts achieved already... and in Hamburg you could have a first-hand impression how the @cleanplanet project really makes a difference... many passing citizens where thanking and cheering the group of around 15 HIVEANS for the waste cleaning service to the community.
So this is a call for action to all those hive whales, orcas, dolphins and fishes... please consider to delegate HP directly to those accounts mentioned above (or the @solarisfuture account, as we will upvote all their great content - so you kind of have an impact on all the projects)! They need to grow much bigger to increase their impact. Or if you consider yourself crazy generous, please think about even gifting HBD to the accounts, this is HBD spend very very well!
So the Hamburg event was really eye opening in this regards, we HIVEANS can really pull something off with our unique ecosystem that others cannot. So, we hope this could be a real kickstart for those and similar projects - for the team of @solarisfuture it certainly gave another huge motivational boost.

The growth of these accounts will help boost the hive ecosystem, most especially the @cleanplanet account.
Everyone should endeavor to support these accounts through delegation. The @cleanplanet account is currently rewarding its delegators through hive and also its traditional token - the planet token. The project just started and I a currently working on a post where we will distribute the rewards based on the amount of delegated HP.
We will be distributing 4 months rewards by the end of this year. Hehe.
It was really great to be a part of the Clean Planet initiative in Hamburg, it was so much fun.
