Trying to Get Back into Running After a Long Break

Hello everyone, how are you? I hope you're doing well. I stopped running altogether for a while. Last week, I started running again. I started with a 3K. My ankle sprained quite badly, so I stopped for a while. Two months ago, I went back to work and was quite busy.

This is the first time I've started running again. Before I started running, I started my day with a walk. I felt like I wanted a more intense workout while trying to get back into running. Last week, I started again. I plan to make running a daily habit. As the year ends, let's be healthier and happier—that's my life motto.

How did I start my run last Sunday? Just a 3.1K to gauge my physical strength after a long break. What about the route? The route was still around Salemba. I didn't want to go too far. Oh yeah, during my break, I complained about a slight Strava error.

Last week, I was back to normal. Last week, I ran a 3.1K at a pace of 9:06 in under 30 minutes. I'm still going strong. My first pace started at 9:09. My second pace continued at 8:55. My final pace was 9:03. I started in the morning. I wanted to shift my running habits from afternoons to mornings.

How about this Sunday? The route was a little different. I passed the morning market. It was quite busy. My average pace was 8:41. It turned out to be quite fast. The total distance was 3.2K. This was my first record, improving my average pace. I started with a pace of 8:35. Maybe because it was morning and there were lots of people exercising, that's why I ran at a fairly fast pace.

My second kilometer pace was 9:09, and the final kilometer was 8:44. I walked past the railway crossing and the market several times. Next week, I might start running twice a week. This morning run felt easier than usual. I feel like I want to be grateful for this moment. That's all I can share. What do you think? See you again.
