Splinterlands - Opening 100 Orbs

#First-Time, #This-is-it, #IamNervous

Good day everyone, I've been playing Splinterlands for a year now and today marks the very first time that I got the courage to purchase 100 Orbs from Hive-Engine and tried my luck.

Actually I am quite disappointed because I missed the best part of opening Orbs or Packs, the actual moment of opening it either one by one or all at once because I got an error message and by the time I refreshed it, boom it's GONE!

How much did I spent?

I bought 100 orbs from Hive-Engine
for 5.24 Hive or approx $1.32 each.

I have about 32k DEC worth around $22.5
and I purchased another 7000 DEC
which is approximately $5 at $0.00070 per DEC.

And I have some Potions from Daily Quest Reward

So that would be:

100 Orbs = $132
Potions = $27.50
Total = $159.50 or let's round it off to $160 .

Potential Profit:
Burning all the cards: $181 - $160 = $21
Selling at Market Price : $240 - $160 = $80

That's some decent profit there, I'm thinking about getting another batch of 100 Orbs or should I try opening untamed packs instead? Which one do you think will be more profitable? Please help me decide by leaving your comments below. Thanks!

Note: By the way, $160 is actually 10 days worth of my pay at work that is why I'm quite anxious about this.

Sort:

great post for profit i think orb is best for you get more dec then untamed packs. but the untamed packs are more usefull to play tournment.
