Dibujo gremlin (Mogwai) / A Gremlin drawing. (Mogwai)

Hoy estuve pensando que tal seria dibujar un Gremlin, los gremlins es una película de 1984 que recuerdo haber visto varias veces cuando era pequeña y la verdad es que me gusta mucho, quise retratar al tierno y pequeño Mogwai, para hacer este dibujo usé una imagen de referencia y no fue nada difícil, la forma de su cabeza y su cuerpo son algo gorditos y ayudándome con círculos y un ovalo pude sacar la forma rápidamente.

Today I was thinking about what it would be like to draw a Gremlin, the Gremlins is a 1984 film that I remember seeing several times when I was little and I really like it, I wanted to portray the cute little Mogwai, to make this drawing I used an image of reference and it was not difficult at all, the shape of its head and body are somewhat chubby and helping me with circles and an oval I was able to get the shape out quickly.

Comencé con el boceto en una hoja, guiándome por algunas formas circulares fui ubicando cada parte de este lindo personaje en su lugar, una vez listo comencé a remarcar con un lápiz más oscuro todas las líneas y arreglando todo lo que estaba mal.

I started with the sketch on a sheet, guiding myself by some circular shapes I was placing each part of this cute character in its place, once ready I began to highlight with a darker pencil all the lines and fixing everything that was wrong.

Ahora use la foto que le tome para pasarlo a digital desde mi aplicación favorita medibang Paint, comencé a realizar el delineado y a ubicar el dibujo en el centro de la hoja, una vez listo empecé pintando primero el fondo, use unos tonos azules, blancos y negros que fue mezclando para tener una apariencia algo rustica.

Now use the photo I took to digitalize it from my favorite app Medibang Paint, I started to make the outline and locate the drawing in the center of the sheet, once ready I started painting the background first, use blue, white and blacks that were mixed to have a somewhat rustic appearance.

Para pintar a Mogwai usé primero la herramienta de bote de pintura y luego fui acomodando los colores así como agregando sombras y la textura similar al pelo de su piel para todo su cuerpo utilice el pincel de acuarela el cual permite mezclar los colores más fácilmente y para mi gusto es muy fácil usarla para hacer pelo y texturas.

To paint Mogwai I used the paint pot tool first and then I was adjusting the colors as well as adding shadows and the hair-like texture of his skin for his entire body use the watercolor brush which allows to mix the colors more easily and to my taste is very easy to use it to make hair and textures.

Para terminar agregue algunas sombras en ciertas zonas y además mezcle el fondo con la parte inferior del cuerpo de Mogwai ya que la imagen de referencia estaba cortada la verdad no recordaba cómo eran sus patitas así que me las ingenie para colocar parte del fondo encima de él, parece que estuviera en un lugar con plantas azules o algo así jaja, pero me gustó mucho como se ve de esta forma así que lo deje de esta manera.

To finish add some shadows in certain areas and also mix the background with the little body of Mogwai since the reference image was cut the truth was I did not remember how his legs were like so I managed to place part of the background on top of him It looks like it was in a place with blue plants or something like that haha, but I really liked how it looks like this so I left it like this.
