Cuando vas al mar y amas la Biología, no puedes dejar de maravillarte con ellas. De repente comienzas a ver todo tipo de algas que algunos sienten como amenaza porque rozan su piel mientras se dan un buen baño, mientras tu celebras su existencia.

Los organismos extraños al mar, no son precisamente estos individuos ¡Es el hombre! Quien incluso al sacarla del mar y botarla, la desaparece. Evolutivamente las algas tienen un papel asombroso en el origen de los seres vivos, pues gracias a su existencia se generaron cambios que hoy nos brindan una atmósfera repleta de oxígeno.
The organisms foreign to the sea, are not precisely these individuals, it is man! Who, even when they take it out of the sea and throw it away, it disappears. Al igual que las plantas terrestres, las algas hacen fotosíntesis… la misma que hace posible la vida dentro del agua. Estas han desarrollado estructuras de acuerdo a su genética y gracias a ellas, han podido sobrevivir.

Las imágenes indican cierta coincidencia con la Caulerpa racemosa, sin embargo, al no tener las claves en este momento que me den aún más precisión me permitiré sólo hablar del género. Como Caulerpaceae, tenermos a una una familia de algas, que se ubican en el orden Bryopsidales.

Su talo (Son talófitos pues mantienen órganos análogos a raíces, tallos y hojas) están compuestos de estructuras llamadas “Estolones” que se anclan a través de los “rizoides”. Sus frondas, en este caso vesiculares se ramifican y están adaptadas para generar la flotación.
