Lo confieso. Me aburro muy fácilmente porque estaba acostumbrado a una vida muy activa. Antes de la cuarentena solía levantarme muy temprano para ir a la universidad a ver mis clases, y luego iba al trabajo. Así pasaba el día, entre los trajines del estudio y las labores del empleo. Todo esto cambió, por supuesto, y ahora paso las 24 horas del día en mi casa, rebuscando ideas y reinventado mis labores.

I confess it. I get bored very easily because I was used to a very active life. Before quarantine I used to get up very early to go to university to see my classes, and then I would go to work. Thus the day passed, between the trajines of the study and the work of employment. All this changed, of course, and now I spend 24 hours a day at home, searching for ideas and reinventing my work.

Bueno, ahora aprovecho el tiempo libre para escribir, que es una de mis pasiones más afloradas. Pero siempre, siempre, quedan momentos de sobra. Entonces me reinvento, y tomo mi teléfono y le empiezo a tomar fotografías a todo. Ja. Sí ¡A todo! Comienzo a retratar lo espacios por dónde tránsito para avivar la inspiración, y empiezo a hacer una sesión de fotografías sin un tema predeterminado. Y he caído en cuenta de que muchas veces las cosas salen mejor sin un guión a la mano.

Well, now I take advantage of free time to write, which is one of my most passionate passions. But always, always, there are moments to spare. So I reinvent myself, and I take my phone and start taking pictures of everything. Ha Yes to everything! I begin to portray the spaces where I pass to stoke inspiration, and I begin to do a photo shoot without a predetermined subject. And I have realized that many times things go better without a script in hand.

Soy un fan del curso de los astros por el cielo. Ando por las moradas de mi casa, buscando una posición perfecta para capturar un buen atardecer o una luna brillante. Veo mi reloj para estar al pendiente del ocaso o la aurora, y entonces salgo inmediatamente a ver si puedo encontrarme con ese sol gigante en el horizonte. Muchas veces es casi imposible, pero en otras pareciera que el mismo astro se pone de acuerdo para ser capturado por mi teléfono.

I am a fan of the course of the stars through the sky. I walk through the dwellings of my house, looking for a perfect position to capture a good sunset or a bright moon. I look at my watch to keep an eye on sunset or dawn, and then I immediately go out to see if I can find that giant sun on the horizon. Many times it is almost impossible, but other times it seems that the same star agrees to be captured by my phone.

Gracias a la cuarentena encontré otra inesperada pasión escondida: las fotografías. No soy un profesional, y tampoco conozco planos fotográficos profesionales. Sólo busco un ángulo adecuado y oprimo la pantalla de mi teléfono para capturar la imagen. Y cómo soy tan quisquilloso fotografío hasta mi gato. Creo que él no se siente a gusto con mi cámara. Lol.

Thanks to the quarantine I found another unexpected hidden passion: photographs. I am not a professional, nor do I know professional photographic plans. I just search for a suitable angle and press the screen of my phone to capture the image. And how I'm so fussy I even photograph my cat. I think it is not comfortable with my camera. LOL.

Por las noches busco a la luna, ella es un poco asustadiza algunas veces y se esconde en las nubes. Yo espero a que se devele ante mi cámara para capturarla. No es fácil, y más cuando está más brillante que de costumbre. Pero al final de cuentas logro retratar a la asustadiza. Lol XD.

At night I look for the moon, it is a little scary sometimes and hides in the clouds. I wait for it to reveal itself to my camera to capture it. It is not easy, especially when it is brighter than usual. But in the end I manage to portray the scary one. LOL XD.

No soy un loco por el simple hecho de andar por ahí tomándole fotografía a todo. ¡No! Simplemente me distraigo del encierro de la cuarentena y paso mi tiempo de una forma divertida e inusual. ¡Me fusiona! En serio. Poco a poco he ido adaptándome a esta nueva vida del “quedarse en casa” y miren, incluso le tomo fotos a mis plantas.

I'm not crazy for just hanging around taking pictures of everything. Not! I just get distracted from the quarantine lockdown and spend my time in a fun and unusual way. It fuses me! Really. Little by little I have adapted to this new life of "staying home" and look, I even take photos of my plants.

Lo que antes era impensable ahora reluce ante nuestros ojos. La pandemia ha causado que nos reinventemos, que busquemos otras opciones para pasar nuestros días antes atareados pero ahora casi totalmente libres de tiempo. En mi caso puedo decir que he descubierto el entretenimiento en las fotografías, algo que jamás hubiera imaginado antes.

What was previously unthinkable now shines before our eyes. The pandemic has caused us to reinvent ourselves, to look for other options to spend our days before busy but now almost totally free of time. In my case I can say that I have discovered entertainment in photographs, something I would never have imagined before.

Y ahora sé que, después del coronavirus, andaré por ahí mostrándole mis fotos a todo el mundo. Lol. Encontré otra pasión, quizás muy oculta o tal vez inesperada. Después de todo así somos los humanos: siempre encontraremos nuevas pasiones y talentos ocultos en el camino de la vida. Y por los caminos que vamos ¿Quién sabe? Quizás algún día también me guste cantar rap.

And now I know that after the coronavirus, I will walk around showing my photos to everyone. LOL. I found another passion, perhaps very hidden or perhaps unexpected. After all, this is what humans are like: we will always find new passions and hidden talents in the path of life. And by the roads we are going Who knows? Maybe someday I also like to sing rap.
