The Witcher es una serie de Netflix que esperé con anticipación ya que siempre fui fanática de los juegos de esta saga, y me hizo muy feliz ver una adaptación que fuera tan fiel a los libros, los cuales aún no he tenido la oportunidad de leer.

Desde hace ya varios años, algunos amigos que eran fanáticos de los libros me habían mencionado que me parecía mucho al personaje de Yennefer, cosa que pude corroborar al ver las ilustraciones de los libros, donde a Yennefer se le describe por su largo cabello rizado de color negro, una característica que lastimosamente no se tomó en cuenta para el personaje de la serie, lo cual fue un poco decepcionante para mí, ya que rara vez puedo ver una protagonista con un cabello como el mío.
For several years now, some friends who were fans of the books had mentioned to me that I looked a lot like the character of Yennefer, which I was able to corroborate when I saw the illustrations in the books, where Yennefer is described by his long curly hair of black color, a characteristic that unfortunately was not taken into account for the character of the series, which was a bit disappointing for me, since I can rarely see a protagonist with hair like mine.

Sin embargo, ver las ilustraciones de los libros me animó a disfrazarme como ella. Tomé un vestido negro y un choker muy parecido al de ella, me maquillé, dejé mi cabello suelto y libre, y utilicé una app de celular para hacer mis ojos verse morados, tal y como los de Yennefer.
However, seeing the illustrations in the books encouraged me to dress up as her. I took a black dress, a choker that looks a lot like hers, put on makeup, let my hair down and free, and used a cell phone app to make my eyes look purple, just like Yennefer's.
