Drácula
La primera película que recuerdo bien y que me hizo dar pesadillas fue una película que ya era vieja para ese entonces, yo tenía como nueve años cuando la vi, esa película fue Drácula, de Bram Stoker.
Esta película ya tenía más de una década, pero cuando la vi estaba sola en mi habitación y me llamó la atención. Vi toda la película y al terminar me acosté y me quedé dormida, pero al poco rato me paré sobresaltada, había soñado con ese vampiro que aparece en una de las escenas, fue tanta la impresión que me paré de la cama y me puse una cadena que tenía un crucifijo, por si acaso.

Dracula: The first movie that I remember well and that gave me nightmares was a movie that was old by then, I was like nine when I saw it, that movie was Dracula, by Bram Stoker. This movie was over a decade old, but when I saw it I was alone in my room and it caught my eye. I saw the whole movie and at the end I went to bed and fell asleep, but after a while I stood up with a start, I had dreamed of that vampire who appears in one of the scenes, the impression was so great that I got out of bed and put on a chain that he had a crucifix, just in case.
El Fotógrafo
Esta película es quizás la película que más miedo me ha dado. Realmente todavía la veo y hay partes que me asustan, esta película toca ciertos lugares de mi subconsciente que me perturban, cuando la vi tuve pesadillas, a tal punto que tuve que ponerme a leer un libro para olvidarme de ella y tranquilizarme. Ahora que analizo porqué el miedo, es porque la película está muy bien hecha, es lo que llaman terror psicológico, cuan la vi hasta tenía miedo de mirarme al espejo y ver que de pronto tuviera a alguien encima de mí.
The photographer: This movie is perhaps the movie that has scared me the most. I really still watch it and there are parts that scare me, this movie touches certain places in my subconscious that disturb me, when I saw it I had nightmares, to the point that I had to start reading a book to forget about it and calm down. Now that I analyze why fear is because the film is very well made, it is what they call psychological terror, when I saw it I was even afraid to look at myself in the mirror and see that suddenly I had someone on top of me.
La maldición de Hill House
Yo no me asusto tan fácilmente, y de hecho me gustan las películas de terror, pero creo que la última que voy a mencionar no es una película sino una serie de Netflix que se llama "La maldición de Hill House". Esta serie me encantó, y me dio mis sustos sorpresivos varias veces, es un terror muy bien hecho relacionado con fantasmas y tiene muchísimo suspenso. Mi subconsciente relacionó la casa que está en la película con una casa muy vieja que yo visité cuando era niña en un pueblo y donde decían que había brujas, fue un sueño extraño, no me dio mucho miedo, ni me paré sobresaltada, pero fue una pesadilla algo angustiosa muy extraña.
The curse of Hill House: I'm not that easily scared, and I actually like horror movies, but I think the last one I'm going to mention is not a movie but a NetFlix series called "The Curse of Hill House." I loved this series, and it gave me my surprise scares several times, it is a very well done horror related to ghosts and it has a lot of suspense. My subconscious related the house that is in the film with a very old house that I visited as a child in a town and where they said there were witches, it was a strange dream, it did not scare me very much, nor did I stop with a start, but it was a nightmare something distressing very strange.
For me, dracula was something else.
Couldn't sleep safely the night that I watched it.
