Hola a toda la comunidad, después de una gran pausa a causa de exámenes y vida de adulto por fin hago un post que tenia muchas ganas de mostrarles.

Hoy quiero llevarlos a conocer el Cementerio Père-Lachaise, uno de los cementerios más grandes e importantes, de los más conocidos en el mundo, ya que allí se encuentran una importante cantidad de figuras famosas, tanto así que se ha convertido en un lugar turístico e imperdible si pasan por Paris e incluso puede decirse que es visitado como si fuera un parque o un museo. Cada año recibe al menos 3 millones de visitas. Y a pesar de ser un lugar muy turístico sigue siendo un cementerio donde se realizan actividades funerarias cada día

Hello to the whole community, after a big break because of exams and adult life I finally do a post that I really wanted to show you.
Today I want to take you to the Père-Lachaise Cemetery, one of the largest and most important cemeteries in the world, since there are a significant number of famous figures, so much so that it has become a tourist and must-see place if you pass through Paris and you can even say that it is visited as if it were a park or a museum. Each year it receives at least 3 million visitors. And despite being a very touristy place it is still a cemetery where funeral activities are held every day.

El nombre del cementerio es un homenaje a François d'Aix de La Chaise, conocido como el Père la Chaise, quien fue confesor de Luis XIV y que ejerció sobre él una moderadora influencia durante la lucha contra el jansenismo. Es un hermoso espacio verde que abarca unas 44 hectáreas de superficie y que tiene su origen en el siglo XII, primero fue propiedad de la iglesia, luego fue comprado por un comerciante, más tarde vuelve a las manos de los jesuitas y finalmente en 1803 con la expulsión de los jesuitas el terreno pasa al poder de la ciudad y se construye el cementerio municipal.

El cementerio Père-Lachaise es un lugar muy especial, tiene una vibra muy particular, pasear entre tumbas rodeadas de árboles y sepulturas inmensas durante el comienzo del otoño es genial, entre gatos y ciervos que tienen su hogar en este inmenso lugar. Tengo la dicha de vivir muy cerca, y me gusta mucho ir a visitarlo, sin embargo, si el objetivo es ir a ver algunas tumbas mejor irse preparado con un buen mapa donde se señalan todas las avenidas y divisiones porque sino les puede pasar como a mí que doy vueltas y vueltas y me pierdo muy seguido ya que abarca una gran cantidad de terreno.

En este cementerio tan conocido los turistas vienen muy seguido con el objetivo de ver las sepulturas de grades artistas como: Chopin, Bizet, Jim Morrinson, Edith Piaf, Oscar Wilde, entre muchos otros conocidos de la historia, la musica y la literatura.
