So I have been testing out the Rising Star game recently and quite amazed by how much it has progressed over a short period of time. This post will be about the Rising Star game and how it has been updated recently and some FAQ
What is the Rising Star Game?
This game is like the name suggests, you start off as a normal person and you eventually work you way (if you don't give up) to become a imaginary "super mega star". It is currently on HIVE and still in Alpha so things are still subject to change, but several updates have occurred over the past few weeks.

What has changed (from my perspective):
Not sure when I started testing out the game, but I recall that there were only 3 missions when I started.
*This screenshot was taken around the time I started, but this already had 4 missions already. *
So at the start it had 3 missions, and all you could do was to complete the 3 missions, earn some STARBITS. You see that level bar in the top right corner, that wasn't there when I first started testing lol. So Quite a few things have been added. In addition, you see those blue tabs at the top over there, probably only the "Home" and "Missions" tab were working at the start.
*Now:
Just looking from where I have started:
- There are now 7 missions that you can complete (if you meet the level and fan count requirement).
- Each mission now specifies the range of STARBITS that you can on a certain mission and how much XP you can get. Previously it was a fixed 10 XP per mission irrespective. Now there is varying XP for users who do not have that much time.
- It also does not end at mission 7 "Saturday Headline", once you complete Mission 7, there will be a new zone.
- You are currently in Buskeria, but once you complete mission 7, you can move to other zones and get imaginary fans from other zones.
Card Collection:
- There is now also a wider range of card collection. If I recall correctly, there was only the Busker card and the fan Boost card when I first started, now more cards are made available
- You can also purchase them now:
You must withdraw your in-game STARBITS to Hive-Engine to be able to purchase cards.
And new updates occur regularly. Now lets go through some FAQs that may be useful to you
Frequently Asked Questions
Why do my number of fans decrease when I stop playing for a while?
So how the game is designed is that you obtain "temporary" or drunk imaginary fans when you perform missions. So your fan numbers increase temporary, but when the drunk fans sober up they forget about you, and hence whey your fan number drops. I may be incorrect, but temporary fans remember you for 12 hours at the moment. In order to get permanent or loyal fans, you need to get fan boosts.
Are fan and energy boosts permanent?
Yes, fan boosts and energy boosts are permanent now. For example if you purchase a fan boost 1 card, the fan is permanent and wont forget you even when the fan becomes sober. It looks like this:
Energy boosts are also permanent, but there is a 24 hr cooldown after each use. You can get several if you want:
If you do not have energy boost, then you will have to rely on imaginary discarded "vegan" pizza in game to restore your energy, but that occurs only 20% of the time when you complete a mission
Most recently, there has been a suggestion from a community member @quantumnachos for a pizza box, which allows you to store 1 temporary pizza and you can use it when you need it, which is quite creative.

I have been playing the game about a week now, it's great that you can now play on the phone too.
It's all relatively new to me at the moment but I can already tell everyone is going to have a lot of fun & laughs with this along the way. I cant wait to buy my first card 🤘
