Les doy a todos la bienvenida a mi primer post.
My name is Arlette Salas, I was born on January 4, 1992 in the land of the beloved sun, Maracaibo, capital city of the state of Zulia, one of the states of Venezuela that borders Colombia, but enough with the geography classes, let's continue with the important things.
Mi nombre es Arlette Salas, nací el 4 de enero de 1992 en la tierra del sol amada, Maracaibo, ciudad capital del Estado Zulia, uno de los estados de Venezuela que es frontera con Colombia, pero basta de clases de geografía, sigamos con lo importante.
I am 28 years old, I was born under the sign of Capricorn, I am left-handed (yes, like Ned Flanders), I studied eight (8) quarters of Computer Engineering at the Private University Dr. Rafael Belloso Chacín (URBE), I also did two (2) quarters of T.S.U in Advertising and Public Relations at the Readic University Institute of Technology (UNIR); because of my indecision about which career I wanted to finish, I started working as a Legal Assistant with a group of lawyers in my city, after a couple of years doing the same, I realized that my talent is writing, selling, the gift of speaking (as they would say in my country: "I speak up to my elbows"). On my mother's side I am an only child, on my father's side I am the second of three children.
Tengo 28 años de edad, nací bajo el signo capricornio, soy zurda (sí, como Ned Flanders), estudié ocho (8) trimestres de Ingeniería en Informática en la Universidad Privada Dr. Rafael Belloso Chacín (URBE), también hice dos (2) trimestres de la carrera T.S.U en Publicidad y Relaciones Públicas en el Instituto Universitario de Tecnología Readic (UNIR); debido a mi indecisión sobre cuál carrera deseaba terminar de estudiar, me puse a trabajar de Asistente Jurídico con un grupo de abogados de mi ciudad, luego de un par de años haciendo lo mismo, me di cuenta que mi don es la escritura, la venta, el don de hablar (como dirían en mi país: “hablo hasta por los codos”). De parte de mi mamá soy hija única, de parte de mi papá soy la segunda de tres hijos.
I am passionate about everything related to technology, social media, marketing (digital or not), languages (at the moment, I only know English and Spanish), video games, video game consoles, toys, pets and food, hahaha.
Me apasiona todo lo relacionado con la tecnología, el social media, el marketing (digital o no), los idiomas (a pesar de sólo medio hablar inglés y español de manera nativa), los videojuegos, las consolas de videojuegos, los juguetes, los mascotas y la comida, jajaja.
My hobbies, in the middle of a country with a galloping economic crisis, are reading, going to the movies (before quarantine), going to meet new restaurants, traveling around my country (between 2014 and 2018 I traveled 12 times or more between the states of Mérida, Falcón, Trujillo and within the state of Zulia), and many other things that I will share here.
Mis hobbies, en medio de un país con crisis económica galopante son la lectura, salir al cine (antes de la cuarentena), ir a conocer nuevos restaurantes, viajar por mi país (entre el 2014 y el 2018 viajé unas 12 veces o más entre los estados Mérida, Falcón, Trujillo y dentro del estado Zulia), entre varias cosas más que iré compartiendo por acá.
Another thing I can tell you is that, apart from my biological family, I am in love with my cat, Bruno, who has arrived at a crucial moment in my life and has made it happier, simpler and more bearable.
Otra cosa que les puedo acotar es que, aparte de mi familia biológica, estoy enamorada de mi gato, Bruno, el cual ha llegado en un momento crucial de mi vida y la ha hecho más feliz, sencilla y llevadera.
I would like to share with you my previous experiences, such as my travels and experiences in the field of technology, perhaps my Craft Beer course; and my new experiences, such as my current formal job (I forgot to tell you that this is my second formal job) in a bakery in the middle of quarantine. Also share everything new I'm learning and my dreams, goals, future plans.
Deseo compartir con ustedes mis experiencias vividas anteriormente, como mis viajes y experiencias en el campo de la tecnología, quizá mi curso de Cerveza Artesanal; y mis nuevas experiencias, como mi actual trabajo formal (olvidé decirles que es mi segundo trabajo formal) en una panadería en plena cuarentena. También compartir todo lo nuevo que vaya aprendiendo y mis sueños, metas, planes a futuro.
