Marigold flower Plant
My photography today is about the Marigold Flower Plant. They are easy to grow, economical, bloom reliably all summer, and infrequently have insect and disease problems. They are a popular warm-season annual with bright, long-lasting blooms. Plant height varies with the cultivar. They cover a full range of sizes from about 6 inches to 3 feet tall. Marigolds have cheery, or daisy-shaped inflorescences in colors ranging from yellow and gold to orange, red, and mahogany. Some unique cultivars have striped, bicolor, or creamy white blooms. The two main species grown in home gardens are the French marigold and the African marigold. French marigolds are more compact in stature, with smaller flowers. African marigolds are much larger, with blooms up to 4 inches across. Marigold leaves are finely cut and fern like. The foliage is a rich dark green and is often strongly scented, making them deer resistant. This plant was in the park near my house and this was very beautiful and the green colour was shining in the Sun shade. I took the opportunity and took the photos.
