Each city has its own light, both during the day and at night, and it is decisive in giving its atmosphere its identity, that is something that always catches my attention.
Personally, light and smells are things that I always remember from a place. I am impressed by how certain tones or aromas can trigger my memory, where the image is just one of those sensitive forms.
These photographs are of my beloved Caracas, slightly calmed by the pandemic, however inside, her essence remains intact.
In the background Ávila (Waraira Repano), the guardian state of the valley, and behind that green wall in the shape of a mountain, the infinite Caribbean.
I took these photos with my Canon 60D camera, using the long exposure technique, without editing. 4 ”- f / 7.1 - ISO 500

Cada ciudad tiene su propia luz, tanto en el día como en la noche, y es determinante para darle identidad a su atmósfera, esa es algo que siempre me llama la atención.
En lo personal, la luz y los olores son cosas que siempre recuerdo de un sitio. Me impresiona como ciertos tonos o aromas pueden accionar mi memoria, donde la imagen es solo una de esas formas sensibles.
