Me sumo a esta interesante iniciativa de @nathyortiz, en vísperas de la celebración del Día de la Mujer. Un día para conmemorar la memoria de todas las mujeres que nos antecedieron y que lucharon para que nosotras, las mujeres de hoy, tuviéramos una vida plena de derechos respetados dentro de la sociedad. Una lucha que no termina y que en, estos tiempos, tenemos que continuar por el respeto a nuestra esencia, a nuestras vidas.
I join this interesting initiative by @nathyortiz, on the eve of the celebration of Women's Day. A day to commemorate the memory of all the women who came before us and who fought so that we, the women of today, would have a full life of respected rights within society. A struggle that does not end and that, in these times, we have to continue for the respect of our essence, our lives.
¿Cómo celebras el día de la mujer?
Todos los días celebro y agradezco el hecho de ser mujer, de haber tenido la maravillosa bendición de ser madre, pero cada 8 de marzo, cuando se podía, me reunía con mis amigas en algún lugar especial a comer y a compartir momentos agradables. De un tiempo para acá, compartimos buenos deseos y mensajes de afecto. Y siempre, me consiento especialmente ese día con algo que me guste.
How do you celebrate women's day??
Every day I celebrate and give thanks for being a woman, for having had the wonderful blessing of being a mother, but every March 8th, when I could, I would get together with my friends somewhere special to have lunch and share pleasant moments. For some time now, we share good wishes and messages of affection. And always, I treat myself especially on that day with something I like.
¿Cuál es tu libro favorito? Explica.
Mi libro favorito es El Principito de Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. Es una historia hermosa, llena de poesía y profundas enseñanzas. Una de sus frases más filosóficas y que me encanta es: «No se ve bien sino con el corazón. Lo esencial es invisible a los ojos». Para mí, este es un libro esencial que todos deberíamos leer e indispensable para iniciar a los niños en el mundo de la lectura.
What is your favorite book? Explain.
My favorite book is The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. It is a beautiful story, full of poetry and profound teachings. One of his most philosophical sentences that I love is: "You can only see with your heart. What is essential is invisible to the eye. For me, this is an essential book that everyone should read and indispensable to introduce children to the world of reading.
¿Cómo te describirías en 3 adjetivos?
Me describo como una mujer fuerte, optimista y amorosa.
How would you describe yourself in 3 adjectives?
I describe myself as a strong, optimistic and loving woman.
Si pudieras ser hombre por un día ¿Qué es lo primero que harías?
Ni me lo imagino, pero podría decir que me gustaría ver la vida a través de los ojos de un hombre y descubrir lo que piensan y sienten desde su lado. Cocinaría para poder entender por qué usan todo los utensilios y dejan la cocina como si hubiera pasado una guerra (risas). No sé si todos son así... el mío sí, aunque cocina delicioso; por eso, yo ordeno todo sin quejarme mucho.
If you could be a man for a day, what is the first thing you would do?
I can't even imagine it, but I could say that I would like to see life through the eyes of a man and discover what they think and feel from their side. I would cook to be able to understand why they use all the utensils and leave the kitchen as if a war had happened (laughs). I don't know if everyone is like that... mine is, although he cooks deliciously; that's why I order everything without complaining too much.
Si sólo pudieras tener un hobby. ¿Cuál sería?
Escogería leer, a través de la lectura puedo viajar, conocer mundos, disfrutar hermosas historias de fantasía, aprender y echar a volar mi imaginación.
If you could only have one hobby, what would it be?
I would choose reading, through reading I can travel, know worlds, enjoy beautiful fantasy stories, learn and let my imagination fly.
¿En qué década te hubiera gustado vivir?
Realmente, me gustan los años que he vivido. En mis 50 años he visto grandes cambios para la humanidad, avances tecnológicos sorprendentes y que eran inimaginables en las décadas antes de mi nacimiento.
**What decade would you have liked to live in? **
I really like the years I have lived. In my 50 years I have seen great changes for humanity, amazing technological advances that were unimaginable in the decades before I was born.
¿Cuál es la parte de tu cuerpo que más te gusta?
No me he detenido a pensar en esto, me siento bien, cómoda con todo mi cuerpo, pero podría decir que lo que más me gusta son mis manos, con ellas puedo sentir, acariciar, dibujar, escribir, crear, ayudar, apoyar, tienen mucho poder para mí.
What is the part of your body that you like the most?
I have not stopped to think about this, I feel good, comfortable with my whole body, but I could say that what I like the most are my hands, with them I can feel, caress, draw, write, create, help, support, they have a lot of power for me.
¿Crees que las mujeres pueden hacer trabajo de hombre?
Las mujeres somos capaces de crear vidas y hacer grandes cosas cuando se impone la fuerza del corazón, somos fuertes y aguerridas, por eso pienso que somos capaces de hacer cualquier trabajo, incluso los que se consideran para hombres porque ¡cuando las mujeres queremos, podemos!
Do you think women can do men's work?
Women are capable of creating lives and doing great things when the strength of the heart is imposed, we are strong and tough, that is why I think we are capable of doing any job, even those considered for men because when women want to, we can!

I would ask for health for me and for the world; a new, first world, prosperous Venezuela. And, last but not least, peace and well-being for everyone in the world.
Tu mejor recuerdo y tu mayor miedo.
Mi mejor recuerdo lo tengo del día que vi por primera vez a mi hija sobre mi pecho, inmediatamente después de nacer. Y mi peor miedo es perderme en mi memoria, quedarme sin recuerdos.
Your best memory and your greatest fear?
My best memory is of the day I saw my daughter on my chest for the first time, immediately after she was born. And my worst fear is to get lost in my memory, to run out of memories.

Hola amiga @aurodivys que privilegio tenerla por aqui, me gusta mucho sus respuestas y el libro favorito,es realmente estupenda esa historia, creo recordar que fue mi primer libro que leí, además creo que ser hombre por un día sería un reto,más en la cocina como me mencionas es por eso que debemos ayudarlos (risas) al menos el señor Rafael se salva de eso. Espero que sus deseos se vuelvan realidad y su vida sea completa felicidad.
