Saludos mis queridos y apreciados lectores y curadores, tenía varios días desconectada de la plataforma por pequeños inconvenientes con la conexión a internet, los que están en Venezuela deben saber que las telecomunicaciones tienen muchos problemas técnicos, pero gracias a Dios que el día de hoy puedo volver a encontrarme con ustedes.

Como todos saben estamos en celebración de la semana mayor o lo que otros conocen como la semana santa, una semana en la que las personas aprovechan de descansar, otros de viajar y divertirse, pero en realidad la mayoría olvidan el verdadero significado de éstos días santos.

As everyone knows we are in celebration of the main week or what others know as Holy Week, a week in which people take advantage of resting, others of traveling and having fun, but in reality most forget the true meaning of these holy days .

Personalmente yo pertenezco a una familia completamente católica y sigo las costumbres de la iglesia católica en la que se celebran estos días de una manera diferente a las otras religiones y con las que siempre nos hemos identificado.

Personally, I belong to a completely Catholic family and I follow the customs of the Catholic Church in which these days are celebrated in a different way from other religions and with which we have always identified.

Existe una costumbre muy importante para todos nosotros y es la que se celebra el miércoles santo con la procesión que se le realiza a la imagen del Nazareno, muchas personas se reúnen para mostrar su devoción y agradecimiento por favores y milagros concedidos vistiendo una bata o túnica de color morado y una corona alusiva a la corona de espinas que se le colocó a nuestro señor Jesucristo, caminan descalzos o de rodillas para cumplir promesas y de ésta manera agradecer lo que se les concedió.

There is a very important custom for all of us and it is the one that is celebrated on Holy Wednesday with the procession that is carried out to the image of the Nazarene, many people gather to show their devotion and gratitude for favors and miracles granted by wearing a robe or tunic purple and a crown allusive to the crown of thorns that was placed on our Lord Jesus Christ, they walk barefoot or on their knees to fulfill promises and in this way thank what was granted to them.

Desde que tengo uso de razón he asistido a esta procesión junto a mi madre y ésta costumbre la he transmitido a mis hijas principalmente para agradecer por la vida y pedir muchísima salud para todos nosotros.

Since I can remember I have attended this procession with my mother and I have transmitted this custom to my daughters mainly to thank for life and ask for a lot of health for all of us.

Por motivos de pandemia el año pasado no se realizó, pero éste año gracias a que ya ha disminuido la intensidad del covid 19 pudimos acompañar a nuestra imagen a recorrer nuestra ciudad. Junto a mi familia como siempre fuimos con el corazón en la mano a agradecer y hacer nuestra peticiones.

Due to the pandemic last year it was not carried out, but this year thanks to the fact that the intensity of covid 19 has already decreased, we were able to accompany our image to tour our city. Together with my family, as always, we went with our hearts in our hands to thank and make our requests.

Lo más importante de nuestro recorrido y visita a la iglesia fué mostrarle a nuestras niñas las costumbres de la iglesia católica y hacer junto a ellas la petición por su salud y tranquilidad.

The most important thing about our tour and visit to the church was to show our girls the customs of the Catholic Church and make a request with them for their health and tranquility.

Queridos amigos, no olvidemos el verdadero significado de la semana santa, no dejemos de un lado las celebraciones de la iglesia sea cual sea su religión lo más importantes es reencontrarnos con Dios y vivir y aprender cada una de las etapas que vivió nuestro señor Jesucristo cuando vino a la tierra a dar su vida por nosotros.

Dear friends, let us not forget the true meaning of Holy Week, let us not leave aside the celebrations of the church, whatever its religion, the most important thing is to reconnect with God and live and learn each one of the stages that our Lord Jesus Christ lived when He came to earth to give his life for us.
