Splinterlands weekly challenge and this week theme is GIANT SQUID
GIANT SQUID - rare untamed card belongs to Water Splinter. Basically I still do have leveled up only few most useful untamed cards at my main account. While Water is obviously most strong with Magic attacks, GIANT SQUID doesn't seems to be must to have still leveled up, but its pretty nice to try it at 1st level account.
Having very low speed and decent range attack, it maybe very useful at Reverse Speed rule set, either having additional armor is very good for Earthquake

Here is final line-up using Water Splinter
- SPINEBACK TURTLE. Low speed, high Life and additional 2 armor. Perfect tank
- RULER OF THE SEAS. Average speed, high Magic attack with Blast ability, high Life. Strongest Water splinter card
- PIRATE ARCHER. Low speed. Blast ability. High Life
- GIANT SQUID. Low speed. high Range attack and additional Armor
- SEA GENIE. Low speed. High Magic and Flying ability
- ALBATROSS. At first level used just to cover back, since one mana still remained free.
Water splinter is generally very good for Reverse Speed, while Sea Genie has Flying ability good for Earthquake and Spineback turtle and Giant Squid have additional armor too... Most of stronger cards just are quite slow and it gave real advantage in Reverse Speed. Opponents choice was Dragon summoner giving additional armor - good decision based on Earthquake conditions. Finally Water Magic pushed through armor of tank and second round of Earthquake was really in my favor...
PS. Would be better to put ALBATROSS at second place this time. But you never know if opponent gonna use sniper or sneaker
