Jeumpa’s Tomb: Poetry |

in GEMS4 years ago

jeumpa florets are now magnificent in song
the flowers wither in the land of martyrs
the aroma no longer sells
young noses are squeezed in his tracks

beauty’s jeumpa withered without a grave
unable to follow the footsteps of the eternal tsunami in the tomb
or grow in a museum of memories
where young people laugh in front of the camera

you see jeumpa
either virgin or bachelor
television has made you die
your master's nose no longer cares. not die due to the earthquake and tsunami
or the eruption of firearms separating the body

jeumpa far above the fragrance of sakura
although the sparkle isn't as bright as tulips
their master was with us
the two buds lift like their lord
the Turkish sultan was also proud
when tulips are priced at 1.8 million dollars for one tuber
viceroy is equivalent to two last wheat
the equivalent of two tons of butter
the equivalent of one thousand pounds of cheese
the equivalent of one hundred and forty gallons of wine
or one silver cup

as fragrant as semper augustus
prepare six thousand fluorine
well above the average annual wage of one hundred and fifty fluorine

the waves of tulips once shook the world
where the jeumpa wave now feels
white, yellow, and red mixture are still burning
the jeumpa florets are now gone

Bungong jeumpa or cempaka flower (Magnolia champaca) is one type of flower that is very well known in Aceh, Indonesia. Even the people of Aceh have special songs about cempaka flowers which are very popular. However, not many cempaka trees can be found there.[]
