Vi el gigante cielo metido en un círculo imaginario, formado entre los enormes árboles de cedro y sus viejas barbas. Sugirió, como primer impresión, un mensaje sublime de luz, felicidad, belleza, delicadeza, calidez, finura, majestuosidad… Ese día fue simplemente maravilloso, mis ojos se llenaron de lágrimas porque no podía creer el espectáculo dado frente a ellos.
I saw the giant sky in an imaginary circle, formed between the huge cedar trees and their old beards. It suggested, as a first impression, a sublime message of light, happiness, beauty, delicacy, warmth, finesse, majesty... That day was simply wonderful, my eyes filled with tears because I could not believe the spectacle given in front of them.
Así comenzó todo...
En el primer momento hubo un efecto borroso, me frotaba los ojos como cual película infantil para lograr nitidez desde mi retina.
In the first moment there was a blurring effect, I rubbed my eyes like a child's film to achieve clarity from my retina.
Aún sin creer nada, cerré los ojos por un momento y al abrirlos nuevamente, allí, en el mismo cielo, bajo el mismo espectáculo, se mostraban imaginariamente los colores de mi bandera, amarillo azul y rojo, la bandera de Venezuela.
Still not believing anything, I closed my eyes for a moment and when I opened them again, there, in the same sky, under the same spectacle, the colors of my flag were imagined, yellow, blue and red, the flag of Venezuela.
No era mi imaginación, era la pura realidad, yo estaba allí, debajo de los árboles y en medio del inmenso cielo, como una pequeña hormiga pisando la tierra y haciendo camino para avanzar. El azul infinito se hacía más intenso en la medida en que mi vista, aún medio nublada, se fijaban en sus órbitas.
It was not my imagination, it was pure reality, I was there, under the trees and in the middle of the immense sky, like a small ant stepping on the ground and making its way forward. The infinite blue became more intense as my sight, still half cloudy, fixed on their orbits.
Más y más intenso era ese azul del cielo. Quizá, porque mis pensamientos nunca se dirigieron hasta otro lugar y deseaban elevarse solo hasta allá. Era hacia ese lugar donde quería anclar mi mirada, era hacia ese lugar hasta donde deseaba que llegara el eco de mi voz interna.
More and more intense was that blue sky. Perhaps, because my thoughts never went anywhere else and wished to rise there alone. It was towards this place that I wanted to anchor my gaze, it was towards this place that I wanted the echo of my inner voice to reach.
Hacia es lugar del reino de Dios, maravilloso, perfecto, mágico, profundo…
Towards this place of the kingdom of God, wonderful, perfect, magical, deep ...
De pronto, el ambiente monocromático, cargado de esperanzas, sin dejar de mostrar el mismo color en el cielo, apreció frente a mi vista en señal que ya se había elevado mu ruego, mi agradecimiento y mi plegaria.
Suddenly, the monochromatic atmosphere, full of hope, while showing the same color in the sky, appreciated in front of my eyes as a sign that it had already raised my plea, my thanks and my prayer.
