A big greeting to the entire community of "HIVE", today I want to expose my first visual artistic work, for this special appointment I want to present a drawing made in black ballpoint pen, where I represent the famous Statue of Liberty, for me it was the choice perfect to start my work in the community, the symbolism of this Statue is wonderful and I dedicate it to everyone here at "HIVE" for the great work and effort made, to finally break the oppressive chains and be free, for you this humble work of art.

Un gran saludo a toda la comunidad de "HIVE", hoy quiero exponer mi primer trabajo artístico visual, para esta cita especial quiero presentar un dibujo realizado en bolígrafo negro, en donde represento a la famosa Estatua de la Libertad, para mi fue la elección perfecta para iniciar mis trabajos en la comunidad, el simbolismo de esta Estatua, es maravilloso y se la dedico a todos aquí en "HIVE" por el gran trabajo y esfuerzo realizado, para al fin romper las cadenas opresoras y ser libres, para ustedes este humilde trabajo de arte.

A bit of history - Un poco de la historia

The Statue of Liberty is one of the most famous monuments in New York, in the United States and around the world. It is located on Liberty Island in the south of Manhattan Island, next to the mouth of the Hudson River. It was a gift from the French government to the American government in 1886, to commemorate the centennial of the United States Declaration of Independence and as a sign of friendship between the two nations. It was inaugurated on October 28, 1886 in the presence of the American President of the time, Grover Cleveland. The statue is the work of the French sculptor Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi and the internal structure was designed by the engineer Alexandre Gustave Eiffel.

La Estatua de la Libertad es uno de los monumentos más famosos de Nueva York, en los Estados Unidos y de todo el mundo. Se encuentra en la isla de la Libertad al sur de la isla de Manhattan, junto a la desembocadura del río Hudson. fue un regalo del gobierno francés al gobierno estadounidense en 1886, para conmemorar el centenario de la Declaración de Independencia de los Estados Unidos y como un signo de amistad entre las dos naciones.
