A cone sleeve as the name Implies is a cone shaped sleeve. It's always puffy and big depending on desire. It can be finished at the edge by either an elastic or simply cutting a fabric as band. It can also be left without the finishing, but all in all,it still always looks perfect.
It is cut in a triangular way, that is the fabric is folder into triangle shape

Then an angle is chosen to be used as the armhole circumference

The measurements of the arc must tally with the person's armhole circumference.

The length of the sleeve is measured starting from the top of the upper arc.

The shapes are cut out.

A cone sleeve goes with any style, especially straight and fitted outfits.
There you go, next time you want to make a style, or direct your designer to make a style, be sure to recommend a cone sleeve. I'm sure you'll love the outcome.
