I made this collage ... illustration ... or whatever this thing is ... some years ago ... more than 7 surely. I found it among the old photographs and stuff. I remember photographing some Barbie dolls and then drawing some simple human figures that I will latter cut out and photograph their shadows ... and then mix those things in photoshop, while adding some fast and raw sketch drawings, some textures from other photographs I took and a few lines in the simple paint program for Windows.

I made it purposely clumsy and not seamlessly merged in a pseudo - photographic universe ... I wanted it to be a bit like a painting ... and a bit ugly too. :D I have seen too much slick photography and CG around Internet those days, and I was a bit fed up with that stuff. It was like a need for something raw and Punk - like in sound after too much modern R&B.
I noticed that the artwork to be highly regarded here, usually has to come with shots of the work in progress ... not only I don't have this for the old stuff ... but I don't think that I will have the patience to do this when creating something new. Is nice to be immersed in what you are creating, and thinking to take a shot in the process is kind of out of place and out of character for the occasion ... is a bit like take a selfie in the midst of a stage play while you are acting.
And that's it ... one picture (he, he - but highly enlargeable) and a few words about art and stuff ... I don't know if the Sublime Sunday tag still exists after all the changes ... but I put it in the title anyway, it is ... or it was ... a cool tag for mixed, undefined content.
