Today I want to show you how with simple materials you can make a cute and decorative pirate to decorate a switch. It is an inexpensive and fun idea that every child will want to have to decorate their room.

Hoy quiero mostrarles como con sencillos materiales pueden elabora un lindo y decorativo pirata para adornar un interruptor. Es una idea económica y divertida que todo niño querrán tener para decorar su habitación.

They will need:

Necesitarán:

•Paperboard.
• Small piece of white cardboard.
• Scraps of fabric (black, red, striped, beige, brown and yellow).
•Glue.
•Scissor.
•Paper and pencil.
•Measuring tape.

•Cartón.
•Pequeño trozo de cartulina blanca.
•Retazos de tela ( negra, roja, estampada con rayas, beige, marrón y amarilla).
•Pegamento.
•Tijera.
•Papel y lápiz.
•Cinta métrica.

He started by taking the measurements (width and length) of the switch, I mark the rectangle on the paper, proceed to arch the edges (it will depend on the type of switch if it has that shape at the corners), cut out the inside of the paper rectangle and proceed to verify that the switch fits on the figure (rectangle) that you remove on the paper.

Inició tomando las medidas (ancho y largo) del interruptor, marco el rectángulo en el papel procedo arquear los bordes ( dependerá del tipo de interruptor si tiene esa forma en las esquinas), recortó el interior del rectángulo de papel y procedo a verificar que el interruptor calce en la figura (rectángulo) que saque en el papel.

He continued drawing on the rectangle that he cut out of the paper, a beautiful pirate. Once the drawing is ready, I cut out the figure and marked its outline on the cardboard. Then he cut out the figure of the pirate marked on the cardboard and the rectangle inside where the switch will fit.

Continuó dibujando sobre el rectángulo que recorte en el papel, un bello pirata. Una vez listo el dibujo, recorto la figura y marcó su contorno en el cartón. Luego recortó la figura del pirata marcada en el cartón y el rectángulo en su interior donde calzará el interruptor.

He cut out the figure of the pirate that he drew on the paper to be able to use as a pattern and obtain each of its parts in the pieces of cloth. For the pirate hat draw a small caravel on the white cardboard, cut out and glue it to the hat. In this way complement the (wardrobe, face, hair, hands and shoes) of the cute pirate.

Recortó la figura del pirata que dibuje en el papel para poder usar como patrón y obtener cada una de sus partes en los retazos de telas. Para el sombrero pirata dibuje una pequeña carabela en el cartón blanco, recortó y pegó a el sombrero. De esta manera complementar el (vestuario, rostro, cabello, manos y zapatos) del lindo pirata.

To finish I am fixing the cardboard figure, face, hair; then wardrobe, hands, shoes and finally his hat and small details.

Para culminar voy fijando a la figura de cartón, rostro, cabello; luego vestuario, manos, zapatos y por último su sombrero y pequeños detalles.

This cute and decorative pirate to decorate a switch. It is an easy and inexpensive craft to do at home; which will highlight and decorate the children's room of the house. They will love this beautiful pirate.
