¡Hola! Mi nombre es Alfredo Caldera, vivo en Caracas, Venezuela y tengo un montón de aficiones que me gustaría compartir con ustedes en esta plataforma. Algunos de estos intereses están relacionados a la fotografía, los viajes, las nuevas tecnologías, la electrónica, el diseño gráfico y el dibujo, porque sin duda alguna, considero que una de las mejores cosas que hago en la vida es precisamente, dibujar.
Aquí estoy yo , acompañado de mi hijo Marcelo, tiene 4 años (Lo siento, siempre está despeinado) /Here I am with my son Marcelo, he is 4 years old (sorry, he is always disheveled).
Lo hago desde siempre, queriendo plasmar en papel aquellas caricaturas y dibujos animados que otrora disfrutaba durante mi niñez. Supongo que toda esta práctica, desde temprana edad, abonaron el terreno a la forma en la que hoy día me gano la vida.
Un reciente viaje a México/A recent trip to Mexico
Actualmente me desempeño como Diseñador Gráfico e ilustrador. He tenido oportunidad de hacer algunos trabajos para clientes particulares y diseñar imágenes vectoriales para plataformas de Stock, en este momento presto mis servicios como colaborador a una pequeña empresa de animación. Realmente me siento muy afortunado de poder dedicarme a aquello que tanto disfruto.

Será para mí un placer poder compartir con todos ustedes, la creación de imágenes vectoriales, haciendo énfasis en el uso de herramientas digitales, como Inkscape o Affinity Designer, pero también, mostrar el proceso de elaboración a mano de muchos de mis dibujos.
A veces, cuando el tiempo lo permite, también escribo relatos cortos, generalmente de ciencia ficción, los cuales tengo el agrado de ilustrar.

My name is Alfredo Caldera, I live in Caracas, Venezuela and I have a lot of hobbies that I would like to share with you on this platform. Some of these interests are related to photography, travel, new technologies, electronics, graphic design and drawing, because without a doubt, I consider that one of the best things I do in life is precisely drawing.
I have always done it, wanting to capture on paper those cartoons that I once enjoyed during my childhood. I guess that all this practice, from an early age, paved the way for the way I make a living today.
Currently I work as a Graphic Designer and illustrator. I've had the opportunity to do some work for private clients and design vector images for Stock platforms, at the moment I'm collaborating with a small animation company. I really feel very fortunate to be able to dedicate myself to what I enjoy so much.
It will be a pleasure for me to share with all of you, the creation of vector images, emphasizing the use of digital tools, such as Inkscape and Affinity Designer, but also, to show the process of handmade elaboration of many of my drawings.
Sometimes, when time permits, I also write short stories, usually science fiction, which I am pleased to illustrate.
