De la noche a la mañana su valor pasó de 2.861 dólares a cero. SQUID, nombre de la criptomoneda inspirada en la popular serie de Netflix de 'El juego del calamar', ha resultado ser una estafa, tras desvelarse que sus creadores han abandonado el proyecto llevándose con ellos más de 3,38 millones de dólares de quienes habían invertido
Por ello, nace esta reflexión, que quizás genere algo de polémica, pero es necesario destacar el punto de vista de muchos de nosotros que creemos y apostamos a esta tecnología.
Actualmente hay alrededor de 8500 criptomonedas en el mercado pero ¿ Realmente son necesarias tantas? ¿Es bueno invertir en cuanta cripto salga al mercado? ( incluyendo memes)
Yo no tengo autoridad para decirle a nadie cómo debe gastar e invertir su dinero, solo quiero dejar por acá un ejercicio que se puede realizar al evaluar alguna de estas novedosas monedas digitales.
Es muy sencillo, se trata de preguntarse a uno mismo lo siguiente:
¿Cuál es el valor agregado de esta cripto?
¿ Qué necesidad cubre que no se haya cubierto ya?
¿Resuelve algún problema?
En la medida que estas preguntas sean respondidas satisfactoriamente podremos invertir nuestro dinero en aquella que nos llama la atención, pero favor, no dejes que la ambición te domine, no creas que serás millonario de la noche a la mañana.

I have no authority to tell anyone how to spend and invest their money, I just want to leave here an exercise that can be done when evaluating any of these new digital currencies. It's very simple, it's about asking yourself the following question:
What is the added value of this crypto?
What need does it cover that has not already been covered?
Does it solve a problem?
To the extent that these questions are answered satisfactorily we can invest our money in the one that catches our attention, but please, do not let ambition dominate you, do not think you will be a millionaire overnight.
