Siempre sentí deseos de festejar mi aniversario en Hive, ansiosa veía las publicaciones de quienes tienen más tiempo que yo aquí, y por más que el 2022 pasó volando, las fechas no me daban para venir a celebrar un año (por lo menos) en Hive.
Así que el día ha llegado, hoy 19 de febrero, que según #Ecency es el día que llegué a Hive y vengo a celebrarlo y además tengo cosas que decir. También quiero contar mis experiencias con Hive Watcher, que me ha visitado dos veces, y fue aterrador!!!
I always felt like celebrating my anniversary in Hive, I was anxious to see the publications of those who have more time than me here, and even though 2022 flew by, the dates were not enough for me to come and celebrate a year (at least) in Hive.
So the day has arrived, today February 19, which according to #Ecency is the day I arrived at Hive and I come to celebrate it and I also have things to say. I also want to tell my experiences with Hive Watcher, who has visited me twice, and it was scary!!!!

Deben saber que llegué a Hive gracias a una recomendación que le hicieran a mi pareja, nosotros llevábamos un blog con lo que escribía, y con las gráficas y el trabajo de redes que yo diseñaba y organizaba, y pensamos que ya teníamos la mitad del trabajo hecho, así sin mayor orientación, logré crear la cuenta. Y comenzamos a postear el trabajo que ya teníamos listo en nuestro blog Caracas para principiantes, que no era más que un lugar donde se hablaba de crónica y de Caracas.
Cuando comencé a postear no sabía las reglas de Hive, no tenía ni la más remota idea de como se hacían las cosas. Me tocó ponerme a investigar, leer, así fueron mis primeros acercamientos con los Hivers, leyendo sus tutoriales y las reglas dentro de la plataforma. No entendía ni la mitad de lo que leí, no estaba familiarizada con la jerga.
Entonces me visitó Hive Watcher por primera vez, porque una de las gráficas que diseñé para el blog, y que luego posteé aquí en Hive estaba en Instagram y eso les hacía pensar que que había ´roto alguna regla. Seguí las instrucciones comprobando que esta cuenta @caracasprin era dueña de aquel blog y de cualquier red social asociada a ese blog. Quedamos en paz el watcher y yo.

When I started posting I didn't know the rules of Hive, I didn't have the slightest idea of how things were done. I had to start researching, reading, that was my first approach with the Hivers, reading their tutorials and the rules within the platform. I didn't understand half of what I read, I wasn't familiar with the jargon.
Then I was visited by Hive Watcher for the first time, because one of the graphics I designed for the blog, and then posted here on Hive was on Instagram and that made them think I had 'broken some rule. I followed the instructions checking that this account @caracasprin owned that blog and any social network associated with that blog. That made me and the watcher even.
La segunda vez... fue aún más espeluznante. Como dije antes, yo entré a Hive sin saber nada de sus reglas, las fui aprendiendo poco a poco y de la peor manera. Estaba publicando en una comunidad donde claramente se exigía que el contenido debía ser "50 % (antecedentes de la arquitectura o el diseño destacados, incluidos el arquitecto o diseñador de la obra, el nombre, la ubicación, la historia, el estilo, los detalles técnicos, etc.) y el 50 % (observaciones, análisis, reflexiones del autor). , críticas y experiencias de la arquitectura o diseño presentado)". Y no se puede presentar este tipo de contenido sin hacer una investigación previa.
Y si, lo hice, porque nadie me había instruido acerca de las fuentes y como utilizarlas, si había escuchado hablar del plagio y que estaba prohibido, pero la verdad, yo pensaba que plagiar era copiar un poema o un texto completo y presentarlo como propio, así que no pensé que hacía algo malo, pues todos mis post los escribo yo.

And yes, I did it, because nobody had instructed me about the sources and how to use them, if I had heard about plagiarism and that it was forbidden, but the truth, I thought that plagiarism was copying a poem or a complete text and present it as my own, so I did not think I was doing something wrong, because all my posts are written by me.
De hecho, el fundador de la comunidad también fue visitado por nuestro amigo el observador, con la diferencia que no fue llevado a juicio, a pesar que tuvo que escribir una disculpa pública, a mi no me pidieron tan cosa.
Mi cuenta se vino abajo, y he dejado de recibir apoyo, lo que entiendo como que en Hive no perdonan a nadie, aun cuando haya entendido las reglas y las ponga en práctica a diario, pero esto es peor cuando viene de parte de quienes son venezolanos al igual que yo, no se tengo la leve impresión que deberíamos apoyarnos.

My account went down, and I have stopped receiving support, which I understand as that in Hive they do not forgive anyone, even if I have understood the rules and put them into practice daily, but this is worse when it comes from those who are Venezuelan like me, I do not know I have the slight impression that we should support each other.
Igual sigo apostando por Hive, incluso me rendí ante el deseo de publicar a diario durante un mes, y aunque no reciba el apoyo por mi contenido sigo publicando y hasta intento que otras personas entren a la plataforma, porque siento que es una experiencia enriquecedora, y por el rechazo trato de no preocuparme, soy artista plástico y diseñadora, por lo que ya he aprendido a lidiar con eso. Solo me preocupa el vicio del monopolio de votos positivos que algunas comunidades trajeron de otras plataformas.
I'm still betting on Hive, I even gave in to the desire to publish daily for a month, and even if I do not receive support for my content I continue to publish and even try to get other people to enter the platform, because I feel it is an enriching experience, and for the rejection I try not to worry, I am a visual artist and designer, so I have learned to deal with that. I only worry about the vice of the monopoly of positive votes that some communities brought from other platforms.
