Greetings to all members of this platform, this time I will share with you a news that as Venezuelan fills us with pride and is that a compatriot born in Caracas Venezuela is part of the ARTEMIS Project promoted by NASA, this project aims to make a woman for the first time step on the moon and that pride is to know that a Venezuelan is part of such an important project.
The Venezuelan who is part of the ARTEMIS project is named Nathalie Quintero and is a native of the city of Caracas Venezuela and has been in this project for more than seven years, her mother is an Industrial Engineer from El Salvador and her father is a retired naval pilot, from a very young age Nathalie was interested in the space theme and her parents never stopped supporting her and we can see the fruit of the effort made by her parents. Nathalie's participation in the project is in the construction of the Space Launch System rocket, which is 98 meters long and is considered the most powerful rocket ever built by NASA.
The Space Launch System rocket's mission is to perform a test flight and send an empty capsule to lunar orbit in order to prove that astronauts can be sent to the moon again after that feat performed by the Apollo project also developed by NASA. Undoubtedly, the presence of a Venezuelan woman in this project shows that Venezuelans are well prepared to take on great challenges in the world and that there are no impossibilities.

As we all know NASA is the most recognized institution worldwide in the development of these space projects and belonging to the group of engineers and scientists who make life in it is a significant achievement for anyone. As I indicated above this launch is a test and therefore will be used as astronauts to mannequins that will be held in the Orion capsule in order to measure the vibration, acceleration and radiation, the latter being one of the greatest dangers to humans in deep space.
This great achievement by Nathalie opens the doors not only to other Venezuelans but to Latinos who live in the United States and who are waiting for opportunities like this Venezuelan who has proven to be a jewel for NASA.
