Behind every picture there is a story, some are good and some not so good, some stories are happy and some not so happy. Until a few days ago our concern was food or the price of the dollar, now everything changed, from one moment to another our life took an unexpected turn and left us blank.

The Coronavirus came into our lives and we do not know when it will leave, everyone is talking about a date, the possible cure and the measures we must take to protect ourselves from this evil that has taken the lives of many people around the world.

Now we have to walk around protected by mask and gloves and the main campaign is to stay in our homes so that we don't get infected, or infect others. Some of us listen and others don't want to pay attention. They are people who resist belief, think they are immortal and death can never reach them.

In Venezuela, the virus arrived a little later, approximately 3 weeks ago the first case was diagnosed and alarms were immediately activated. The national government immediately ordered a halt to all activities and sent everyone home. Only those working in food shops, security agents and health workers were to be on the streets..

Here in Guatire Estado Miranda, the lines have reappeared again, if you want to buy something and get out of the line early you have to get up at 5 in the morning. The earlier you go the better because after 9 o'clock more people start arriving in town.

There is not much to buy, things are already starting to get scarce and other supermarkets are already limiting the amount of products.

I think that of all these pictures I show you, this was the one that surprised me the most, where you see a group of women with pink blouses, someone with a cell phone came and wanted to show you something that seemed funny, some were with the mask and others were not and I wonder, do you really not understand? Distance is an important part of prevention; but they just stood there like that.

***People keep coming and going, the most immediate refuge is the telephone, that is for many an escape route, to be able to interact with people in some way. That's what this kid without a mask is doing lying on the wall while he waits for one of the supermarkets to open.

Guatire has always been called the dormitory city, all of us who once lived in Caracas started shopping here to get away from the stress of living in the capital. Motivated by this when there is no work everyone is here and it is impressive how many people go out to the streets.

What can I tell you about when we heard the news of the reward they were offering for the capture of Nicolas Maduro, Diosdado Cabello and his entourage, for drug trafficking and terrorism, together they make 40 million dollars; that was more impressive and we knew things were going to get worse. Now here in Venezuela we are between two things, the coronavirus and the imminent capture of Maduro.

Gasoline! There is NO!

My husband has not been able to refuel for more than two weeks, some have something stored in their houses but for me that is a double-edged sword. A few days ago there was an explosion in the basement of a building in Caracas, something very unfortunate, according to the authorities everything happened because a neighbor had inside his car some pimples stored with gasoline.

As the days go by, people keep lining up, some for food, some for fuel and some just go out and do nothing, just fuck!

Friends, through this post I want to invite you to take care of yourselves, let's not let this virus harm us, let's take care of our children, our family, our neighbors. This is not the time to be visiting anyone, not for hugs, not for kisses.

When all this is over, I hope to be among the people who successfully survived this pandemic. Protection is in your hands,

Stay home!!
