Earth, Wind & Fire

"Earth, Wind & Fire" is a fusion band of disco, R&B, funk with jazz, soul, gospel, pop, blues, psychedelia, folk, African music and rock and roll, which has an incredible track record since the years 70´s. To speak of this band is to speak of the large number of members who have passed through it, around more than 45 and despite this they have maintained their style through the years, something that characterizes this band is its very marked style in the Funk, creating that urge to shake your head involuntarily.

Regarding the bass riff, these have an incomparable magnetism, each bass line has its own life; these really are not easy to play but when you manage to have the flow that the song requires, they are really epic. The equalization of the bass at the time is what we currently consider as vintage, which they have maintained until those times, of course the modernization of the mixes have led to give more shine and presence to the bass but without losing its style and sound that they had in their the beginning.

“Earth, Wind & Fire” es una banda de una fusión de disco, R&B, funk con el jazz, soul, gospel, pop, blues, psicodelia, folk, música africana y rock and roll, que tiene una increíble trayectoria desde los años 70´s. Hablar de esta banda es hablar de la gran cantidad de miembros que han pasado por ella, alrededor de más de 45 y a pesar de esto han mantenido su estilo a través de los años, algo que caracteriza a esta banda es su estilo muy marcado en el Funk, creando esa necesidad de mover la cabeza involuntariamente. Respecto a los riff de bajo, estos tienen un magnetismo inigualable, cada línea de bajo posee vida propia; estas realmente no son nada fáciles de tocar pero cuando se logra tener el flow que pide el tema, son realmente épicos. La ecualización del bajo en la época es lo que consideramos actualmente como vintage, el cual han mantenido hasta esos tiempos, claro la modernización de las mezclas han llevado a darle mayor brillo y presencia al bajo pero sin perder su estilo y sonido que tenían en sus inicios.

"September" is a song to remember and dance inevitably, known for being part of many movie soundtracks and other productions, thus marking a style that was very popular in its time and has remained until now. The photograph shows one of the first configurations of the "Earth, Wind & Fire".

“September” es un tema para recordar y bailar inevitablemente, conocido por formar parte de muchas bandas sonoras de películas y otras producciones, marcando así un estilo que en su época era muy popular y que se ha mantenido hasta ahora. En la fotografía se muestra una de las primeras configuraciones de los “Earth, Wind & Fire”.
