Hi hivers. Today I want to introduce you to a French French House / pop music duo composed of producer Romain Tranchart and vocalist Yann Destagnol (aka Yann Destal) called “Modjo”. This duo was well known at the beginning of the 2000's, while a group of young people who were studying in high school or during school time listened and jumped to the rhythm of their music, most of them were getting to know the beginnings of reggaeton with "the factory ";

It was a rather curious contrast, since back then "Nu metal" and French house / pop were misnamed "sifrinos or nerd music"; but it was really a very well conformed style and really catchy music. This duo was in many of the top 10 of the Mtv creating not only great music but also great videos. In the production of their music, the bass sound is very well produced, since that pop / house style focused on those low frequencies that give this genre a characteristic feature.

El día de hoy quiero presentarles un dúo francés de música French House /pop compuesto por el productor Romain Tranchart y el vocalista Yann Destagnol (alias Yann Destal) llamado “Modjo”. Este dúo fue muy conocido al principio de los años 2000´s, mientras un grupo de jóvenes que nos encontrábamos cursando en bachillerato o en época escolar escuchábamos y saltábamos al ritmo de su música, la mayoría estaba conociendo los inicios del reggaetón con "la factoría"; fue un contraste bastante curioso ya que en aquel entonces el “Nu metal” y el french house/pop era mal llamado “música de sifrinos o nerds”; pero realmente era un estilo muy bien conformado y una música realmente pegajosa. Este dúo estuvo en muchos de los top 10 de los Mtv creando no solo excelente música sino también excelentes videos. En la producción de su música el sonido del bajo está muy bien producido, ya que ese estilo pop/house se centraba en esas frecuencias bajas que le dan un rasgo característico a este género.

"Chillin '" is one of the best known songs of the French duo, although the greatest success was in the single "Ladyes" which was at number 1 on the UK charts in 2000 for several weeks. Despite the short career of “Modjo” he left a strong mark on those of us who enjoyed the golden age of this French Duo. I really enjoyed doing this cover, I hope you like it.

“Chillin'” es uno de los temas más conocidos del dúo francés, aunque el mayor éxito estuvo en el sencillo “Ladyes” el cual estuvo en el puesto número 1 de las listas en Reino Unido en el año 2000 por varias semanas. A pesar de la corta carrera de “Modjo” dejó una fuerte huella en quienes disfrutamos la época dorada de este Dúo Francés. Disfruté mucho realizando este cover, espero les guste.
