Hello, hivers who love good music. Did you know there was a post-grunge music genre? Well, today I bring you one of my favorite bands and from that underground rock music guild of the 90's. "Days of the new" was a North American band born in Indiana and had a career, despite a relative success, remained anonymous from the vast majority of rock lovers since despite having had one of the songs of their first album as number one on the Billboard charts, in addition to selling more than a million copies in the world, it should be noted that I have that original album, they were relatively unknown, but despite that they have one of the best sounds as a band and a really flawless production.
This band was born in mid-1996 but they released their first album in 1997, Travis Meeks guitarist and main vocalist is the creator and founder of this band that had the song "Touch, Peel and Stand" at number 1 on the charts. Billboard as I said before, and after making this first production they launched their first tour with metallica, which unfortunately at the end of it the band had incredible casualties when three of its members left, leaving Travis practically alone. Que tal, Hivers amantes de la buena música. ¿Sabían que existía el género de música post-grunge? Pues el día de hoy les traigo una de mis bandas favoritas y de ese gremio underground de música rock e los 90´s. “Days of the new” fue una banda norteamericana nacida en indiana y tuvo una carrera, a pesar de un relativo éxito, se mantuvo en el anonimato de la gran mayoría de amantes del rock ya que a pesar de haber tenido uno de los temas de su primer disco como el número uno en las listas Billboard, además de vender más de un millón de copias en el mundo, cabe destacar que tengo ese álbum original, fueron relativamente desconocidos, pero a pesar de eso tienen uno de los mejores sonidos como banda y una producción realmente impecable. Esta banda nace a mediados del año 1996 pero lanzan su primer disco en el año 1997, Travis Meeks guitarrista y vocalista principal es el creador y fundador de esta banda que tuvo el tema “Touch, Peel and Stand” en el número 1 de las listas Billboard como dije anteriormente, y luego de realizar esta primera producción se lanzaron a su primera gira con metallica que lastimosamente al terminarla la banda tuvo unas bajas increíble al salirse tres de sus integrantes dejando a travis prácticamente solo. "Shelf in the Room" is one of the songs from the first album by this band that bears the name "yelow" and it is the first song on this first album, being one of my favorites. This theme has an unequaled simplicity and at the same time an impressive magic; It has a bass riff that is just as simple, but very well achieved in production, thus demonstrating that it is sometimes better to keep it simple and make a good record than a complex production without results.
“Shelf in the Room” es uno de los temas del primer álbum de esta banda que lleva el nombre de “yelow” y es la primera canción de este primer disco, siendo uno de mis favoritos. Este tema tiene una sencillez inigualable y a la vez una magia impactante; posee un riff de bajo igual de sencillo, pero muy bien logrado en producción demostrando así, que a veces es mejor mantener la sencillez y realizar un bien disco que una producción compleja sin resultados. @mavis16
