Hello hiver's 🙂 , I school at Federal University of Agriculture , Abeokuta , FUNAAB , in ogun state , Nigeria . The developer student club was created by students of the university to mentor and build young minds interested in tech and programming of every sort , helping students discover their skills or field they love in tech and using tech to solve problems in the school environment .

For the first time ever , I attended a meeting of the developer student club (DSC) of my university and it turned out to be a meet and greet session , This is their first meeting this school year and i have awaited this event for so long . The event was so interesting and fun that I couldn't help but share my experience with my fellow hiver's , here is how it all went down .
It was a very cold day , had a lot of home choirs to do that got me busy till afternoon , I was quite tired but i wouldn't miss the event at any cost .

I decided to go with my friend named maleek to the event and we took off by 2:00pm . We made it to the event by about 2:11pm . About 4 minutes till starting of the event .

Getting into the hall , I saw a lot of bright faces . Different faces from various faculty in my university , some of which were familiar to me . Also got to see the president of the the club known as Habeeb a.k.a Haks .
The event started right on time . They first taught us briefly on APPLICATION PROGRAMMING INTERFACE (API) which is an interface that defines the interaction between various software applications . It allows communication between multiple softwares . They spoke on the purpose , designs and examples , you can learn more about it online .
We were then given a 30 minutes break to meet and interact with ourselves , this part was so much fun for me because I got to meet new people , make new friends , got to learn from others , shared opinions , met the coordinators of the club and much more .
Towards the ending of the event , we then played kahoot games , kahoot is
a platform for playing educational games , such as quizzes , trivia games and so on . We were 51 in number for a total of 3 quizzes , one on computer science , the others on information technology and general knowledge .Sadly I couldn't take pictures cause the game was competitive and quick . but also Luckily for me , I won a branded shirt with the club logo by winning the computer science quiz .

So that was the end of the program , we talked , discussed , laughed , took wonderful group pictures and went to our various destinations .

It was a really enjoyable and wonderful event , everyone had fun , everyone learnt something , it felt so good . Really wish you all were here , but all I can do is share my experience with you .
Thank you for reading!
Hope you enjoyed it .

BYE!

Hello!
Coding has always been a passion for me too, it's an experience where you can create things through a keyboard! It's very interesting to have those group sessions as it allows us to learn from each other and to be able to solve bigger challenges as a team. I encourage you to keep working hard for this goal and that you can have a successful trajectory!
It's so good to meet an giver interested in coding too .
That's the whole point of it as you said champ , teamwork and creativity! It's also a lot of fun when you meet up with people of similar interests .
