What bothers me most is the fact that the aristocracy and its consensus on what is right or wrong for me to do.
In a place that preaches freedom, there should be no person or entity capable of limiting my decisions, whether they are good or bad.

This is the most difficult comment I have to answer under this article...
Do you know how I see many things? Just with a "it is". Without a value behind. Because I am not able to see the result at the end or all the factors which are in the surrounding/relation of an aspect. So, when I can't see the whole image, how could I be able to judge it? And even if I would think "this or that is 'sub-prime'" I don't go into bad feelings, because they would harm me. Will this "not going in" change the world? No. But is a change needed? Hmmmm. High Buddhists would say "no" and answer (as far as I understood it): Every 'sub-prime' aspect is needed to grow on it. Sounds valid for me. And this is important; we have to grow! So... this understanding makes it much more easy to accept things or to welcome them. I think the more important question is: "do we make the best out of it?" started from the "it is". The growth out of this will make things better. It may not save the world, but will support our self-refinement and save you. And if you are saved and in harmony, you can share it and make your direct surrounding better. And those who don't are there are invited & welcome to grow. Lastly we need bad aspects - or on what we want to reflect and grow?
Be blessed! I hope I was able to bring a small portion of harmony into your inner self.
