Those of us who grew up in a time before Google and subsequently Chat GPT/AI learned how to read and digest information much faster. Now people can just ask their AI sidekick to "summarize War and Peace in 100 words" and it's all done for them. But do you actually learn anything from that?
No, there's no learning involved. It's the physical action of holding a book, reading the words and using your imagination that triggers true learning.
Sadly, that seems to increasingly becoming a "lost art." That said, I've noticed some Gen-Z'ers starting to carry paper books around. Nostalgic throwback, perhaps?
