Good day from Nigeria, my name is Daniel @daniky. I got the post displayed by bluemist in Gems community regarding the current state of Hive on how different people whining about rewards and so many entitled opinions knowingly fully well that "Hive is a social platform which generally does reward different authors, curators and developers".
It's apparent that hiveblog is an enterprising community built for the benefit of both Authors and Curators for the growth of the communities and blockchain. So the more the curation goes round creative contents on hive, the more hive will be in circulation amidst community members and the more the monetary value of hive will definitely appreciate. I believe no Author will be happy to take his/her time and initiative to create a quality content and later finds out the content or article posted is been ignored by a curator capable of upvoting it. I @daniky will definitely view such as favoritism or sentiment in the part of the curator.
How can Hive or a community grow effectively without a curator being available to curate a post. This act impairs the growth and functionality of the blockchain which in turn will definitely affect both the Author and curator since they both earn more from Hive or HBD from a support system on this platform.
So @bluemist, I'm of an opinion that curation support should be made uniformly on authors post irrespective of their races, religion, culture or tradition. We're all supposed to be one as a family to help build and support eachother and the community wherever applicable.
The only sure way we can boost the monetary value of Hive or HBD and grow the community is by proper curation of authors's contents within and out of a local community. This will make the support go round authors thereby helping them to invest too in the system till they gain a financial standard where they are able to curate others too within and out of the community. This will help us grow which in turn will help stimulate the value of Hive token and HBD.
I know of an Author who left hiveblog due to the fact his posts were not manually curated as expected, despite his qualitative inputs. I've faced such a similar situation too overtime when i uses #appreciator tag and yet, never receives an upvote from him and i believe that's the same way many feels too.
Once again, Thank you @bluemist for bringing this wonderful initiative to clear our mind on what majority of us have found out to be the challenge on the state of entitlement on this platform. I hope my suggestions will be put into consideration and as well, go a long way to help build the community. Thank you and God bless.
