Hace muchos años, leí este libro pensando que sería uno más de los que ya leí, y me encontré con la sorpresa de que esta obra es mucho más que las películas que tienen sus nombres, cuentan una historia ambiciosa, cruel, realista y de amor. Te muestra a Víctor, el joven que quiere o juega a ser Dios, al querer dar vida a partes de cadáveres, sin importar las consecuencias. Está la criatura, aunque fea, que quiere bondad, amor, como todos los demás, pero es rechazada, temida, por no ser igual a los demás.
Cuando te adentras en esta obra literaria, empiezas a reflexionar, notar y querer cambiar, empezando por ti y luego, al mundo, pero no podemos con egoísmo, orgullo, avaricia, ambición… porque ahora, puedo entender que solo el amor puede mejorar a la humanidad, la compasión y la empatía. En específico, el amor de Dios.

Pero cuan vital es el amor al prójimo, una de las bases mas importantes de la vida, porque el amar a otro, te enseña a perdonar, dejar el rencor, a mirar mas allá de la superficie, y entender que el corazón humano está lleno de fealdad, de deseos oscuros. Y que no debemos dejar de llevarnos por nuestro corazón o emociones, porque si ellas nos gobiernan, nuestros caminos estarían perdidos.
Debemos dejar todo en mano del único que puede cambiar, mejorar, y hacer lo que sea, con su poder: Dios. Y esta historia nos enseña cómo ningún ser humano, puede ser Dios. Por mas que inventen con la ciencia, porque Dios da la sabiduría, y el don, a aquellos que crean e inventan, para crear cosas buenas sí, pero también recordemos que existe el mal, y este también está en esta tierra, empujando a aquellos humanos que se lo permiten, a hacer desastres.
