Hi Hiveians
For the Easter celebration, I decided to delight my family with homemade fried rice for lunch. Sincerely, my craving for fried rice influenced my decision to make fried rice. My ingredients
- Diced carrot
- Green beans
- Liver
- Pepper
- Onions
- Sweet corn
- Seasonings
- Groundnut oil
- Parboiled rice
- Meat stock
- Margarine
I put my meat stock on fire and added a little more water, checked for taste and adjusted as appropriate, allowed to boil them added my parboiled rice and a little quantity of groundnut oil and left it to cook till the water dries up.
In another pot, I put my groundnut oil on fire and fried my diced and raw ingredients, seasoned it mildly so it won't become too salty when combined with the already cooked rice.
Checked to see if the rice is dry and added my margarine then stirred. Reduced the heat and covered it up to steam then I removed it from fire and combined the fried ingredients into the already cooked rice. I mixed it straight into the cooler . My Easter fried rice is ready.

Looks so good. Frying the veggies with butter gives a nicer feel too. Yin could try that out.
I recently learnt that you could fry the raw grains after washing. It ensures the price never gets soggy regardless of how much water goes in.
Fried Price happens to be my favourite meal to prepare. The only meal I prepare better than everyone in my house.
